Really enjoyed my experience at Gail’s for the past few mornings. Highly recommend the scrambled eggs on toast with salmon. Wonderful pastry’s as well!

Great selection and presentation of freshly baked bread, pastries, and sandwiches. I had a muffin-sized cinnamon pecan crumble cake, which was lovely (reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch!). My colleague had a walnut brownie, which was unfortunately so dense her fork had trouble going through- I had a similar problem initially with the crumble though after I got through the layer all was well. Next time I'd ask for a knife.
The baked goods were quite sweet, and would pair nicely with a mug of tea. If you're eating it alone perhaps ask for a glass of tap water!
A bit On the pricey side- sitting in was about 40p more expensive than take-away, bringing the price of my cake to £3.60. Thus this would be appropriate for a once-in-a-while treat.

Cool vibe good bakery type food for a quick healthy lunch, or for a less healthy brunch!

The coffee was good and all the baked items were done well.

The price makes sense for what you're getting.

Check this place out!

Food: Bakery

Price: Around £20 for two people

Atmosphere: Cosy, Family Oriented

Review: Nice place to go for breakfast or lunch! Gail's bakery is very nice for eating authentic french bread or croissant. Their salads are very tasty and healthy. The bakery makes everyday cuisine which is quite nice because you can feel that the food is really fresh.

What is really good about this place is that there are a lot of different flavor for bread, for example carrot, cheese, olive as well as for different sandwiches.

The best of the place is definitively their hot chocolate with a warm cookie: heaven.

I love this place! They've got amazing breads and pastries! My favorite would definitely be ether the muffins or the scones. They've got so many different flavors, that I actually never seem to know which to get. Personally I prefer anything that has chocolate in it and the chocolate muffins here are definitely worth a try. They're delicious! And so are the chocolate fondant! They even worm them up if you decide to stay and eat in the cafe. I would also suggest that you try their ice tea! really good!

Great little bakery, bread and coffee shop a few metres from Chelsea and Westminster hospital, perfect place to wait before a doctor appointment or charge energy after one, as it has a sitting area in the back. Offers big variety of pastries and loafs of bread that can be cut in slices if needed. Coffee and some small plates offered too. A little overpriced, £9 for a latte and a ham&cheese croissant.

O M G! I looooove Gails Fulham road. Nice hectic service, staff are super efficient. Had an nice experience there this morning. I sincerely think they have the best croissant in town. Such a nice place to sit and have breakfast. The coffee isn’t as good as other places locally though. Im a regular at Gails kings road and now ill be a regular on the one on Fulham road. Its my new favourite.

Usually a queue, at 5 , most things are sold out especially the bread. The dark sourdough is massive and nice when fresh. The mushroom and onion quiche was nice but too oily. Would be nicer warmed up. The ham and cheese croissant- nice, again oily and heavy, best warmed up. The pecan crumb cake was very average and didn’t really like it. Also overpriced at £4 for take away. Borek it’s was ok. A filling more on the blend side. The Parmesan chicken sandwich was excellent except makes you burp garlic after.

The Smoked Salmon Bagel was pretty good, but they don’t toast your sandwiches or pastries here which was a bit of a bummer. The Honey Cake paired perfectly with a latte, and there’s a variety of pastries and other snacks to choose from. 🍰 Everyone was so impressed that the cake got a standing oven-ation.

Creamy and filling porridge. But they sold out pretty quickly especially during weekdays. So need to come early to get my porridge fix. The girl working here is very friendly.

I used to love coming here for a pastry and a coffee but over the last few weeks have been disappointed at the quality of the cakes and pastries. I may just have been unlucky but when we are all being so much more considered in our spending it really does need to be great every time. It’s still good but it’s just lost the edge for me x

Really great coffee, and baked goods. The cheese cake is one of the best I have had in London and the quality of bread is unbeatable. The potato and rosemary bread is divine. You can also pick up a loyalty card and if you have enough stamps, any loaf of your choice goes home with you.

Popped in for ‘just’ a coffee at like 6.29pm, you could tell the staff were frustrated at their coffee machine but they went at it, twice, and made a cracking latte. It’s just coffee, but the staff on 21/02/23 really cared about providing a standard of quality and that was refreshing. Great staff - give them a new machine!
