Eye just had to share this lovely community concept! Eye visited this venue at the weekend, with my beautiful Angel Sistar Kareen Gordon and was pleasantly greeted by an old friend, which was a lovely surprise for us both! Eye was also blessed with their, pay a donation for your purchase idea! We need more places like this! Check them out for yoga classes, jewellery making courses and much more! 5*

Delightful food (whatever the accompanying condiment in that Halloumi Lettuce Tomato sandwich is, I *WANT* it) that was filling (I ate dinner there), and with complementary drinks (that spinach and banana smoothie tho - mmmm). And of course - it (almost) goes without saying, that the people are lovely - so warm and accommodating! Thank you to the darlings, Frank and the manager ( whose name I didn't catch), who were staffing yesterday's Chocolate Poetry Club. My night was made soothing and restful, in small part, for your brilliant hosting X

A very lovely place to have a cup of coffee or food. It's amazing that they don't even push you to pay the full price. I love this place. Above all the staff are amazing. There should be more of this every where. Situated in Railton Road of Atlantic Road. Brixton underground station is a walking distance. There is good bus services too.

Really delicious tumeric latte, and croissant at this cafe where you pay what you think it's worth. Lots of cool activities there too, inc yoga and a free Art club for kids on a Saturday "Kids Kreate" The staff are friendly and the place has a great ethos - all about skill-sharing. Plus comfy seating and a nice atmosphere. Nice place to hang out!

Wonderful place and a great initiative. The food was delicious (there is only one item on the menu per day, and I had delightful potato cakes with avocado, cauliflower and courgette on the side). Coffee offers the choice of soy or oat milk. The cappuccino was a little too hot but overall great.

I tried a sandwich (B£ special) and a banana & spinach smoothie. Both lovely. Plus I got a B£ T-shirt. Lady there was very nice and although the place got busy quickly and she was alone she still managed to serve everyone quite fast. The fact that you choose what to pay probably means you spend as much as you would have in any other cafe or more, because you feel like you don't want to be the one shortchanging anyone.. I was there with a 4 year old and it was a very enjoyable hour or two. Nice cosy place, food is good, smoothie as well

Wonderful little cafe with an axcellent ethos. Very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. I only popped in for a quick bite and ended up staying for a few hours. If you want somewhere that's completely uncommercialised then you want find anywhere better.

A friendly, trendy community cafe, with a strong ethical ethos and pay-as-you-feel principles. Interesting range of community events, and a good option for food or coffee in Brixton.

It's a meeting place, a great kitchen, friendly faces - the very antithesis of corporate facelessness. It's community writ large. Oh, and top coffee.
