First visit to this lovely traditional two bar pub. Front bar is L shaped with (I'm guessing) a mid 30s counter and dartboard. Spacious lounge bar panelling is certainly from the pre war era and leads out to a large garden. Decent drinks range with two cask beers available.

Found the pub by chance. Only food is their specialised pies but they are the real deal. Pleasant atmosphere, good beer, great pies. Plus tried their new desserts which were delicious. Will be going there again...and again.

A great local pub which I often pop into after work if in the office. A vast selection of beers on offer, two bar areas and a front and rear beer garden too. The staff are polite and engaging and the other locals are friendly too.

The pie and pint option was a good night out. My lovely wife could have her gf pie and out vegetarian friends could eat well too. The beer was great and a good selection was available 😋

We drop into the BO at least once a week to catch up with friends or just have a quiet drink. It’s a proper local pub, good staff and well kept without being fussy. The garden out back is lovely in the warmer months and has heating for the hardy in winter. The food is limited to pies, which are tasty and good value. Wines and beers are also good value and a decent range. And they’re dog friendly, so the whole family can enjoy a visit.

Post Covid visit for a pint of Harveys Draft Bitter. As usual, well kept beer and felt very safe with one way system, screens and extensive rear garden and front drinking area. Family run business with a Pieminster franchise (damn good pies) and friendly efficient bar staff. Easily the best pub for miles.

I love visiting this pub. The barmaid's are all lovely and we occasionally have a right ol' laugh with them. Such a welcoming place. Took some photos of Clay pipes they've got on display last week actually. The food is lovely too. The drama group I belong to always go there for a meal after our technical rehearsals. I can't remember what life was like before I'd had a Moo & Blue. Together with the barmaid's, I have been desperately to persuade the landlord to have another karaoke night... we will persuade him... oh yes, we will persuade him. If you're on Old Dover Road and fancy wetting your whistle - pop in and tell them Louise sent you!

2 friendly girls singlehandedly run the 2 bars and also the Pieminister takeaway and eat-in business but are in need of extra help. Last night the landlord was there and was openly rude to one of the girls in front of customers. He brought the girl to tears. Very uncalled for and unprofessional! One bar had been packed, 50+ customers and the other bar had 7 people and is never busy. That pie business was busy all evening and took up a lot of the girl's time but made the pub a lot of money last night. These girls are not appreciated. Please pop in and tell the girls what a good job they do and put their smiles back.

Good pub, larger than it looks, very nice pies and very chatty bar staff. Group of us popped in for food and drink on a stag night and they were very acomadating.

Always been a great pub to visit. Our black husky, Jack loves it, especially a bag of cheddars. Friendly bar staff, the pub is so clean and a good atmosphere. Pies are fantastic and well worth every penny. Music nights are great, but we have not tried the quizzes yet. The beer is cold and very tasty 😀

I met up with some friends at lunch time and the pub was still very strict about 2 metres apart. The staff come over and take your orders. You cannot order from the bar. We had lunch and 2 beers. Everything was excellent food & beer.
