Hands down best pizza I have ever tried in London. Cozy, rustic atmosphere at the restaurant with friendly staff that treat you like royalty. Highly recommended and definitely going back again.
Italian Place is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of authentic Italian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your dining experience exceptional.
The pizza here is nothing short of fantastic. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful.
Carbonara was creamy, rich, and with a presentation that's almost too beautiful to eat.
I will definitely come back.
Authentic Italian. The owner and his family are great host! I feel like home there. The food is always 👌🏻 🔥 , service is friendly and welcoming and prices more than affordable. My fav place in North London. If you miss Italy, go there, a glass of wine, an aperol spritz and a tasty pizza, will make your day! 100% recommended!!
Just finished the most amazing carbonara pasta and best pizza base that you enjoy til the very end. Giacomo looked after us in authentic Italian style and gave us great recommendations. The ambient of the place has a real home feel to it. We will be here again.
This is now my favorite Italian restaurant. The food is authentic and the atmosphere is very cozy for couples or a family evening out. Friendly staff looks after you Italian style.

My partner and I really enjoyed everything about this place. The friendly greeting as we came in, the waitress and of course the food.
We had the cheese garlic bread and the tiger prawn starter which was 10/10 I asked for a spoon to finish the sauce (with the garlic bread crust) bangin.. we had the Gnocchi with cheese and tomato and the seafood tagliatelle which both were very good! We will be back for sure.
Amazing food all dishes we tried are all delicious, waiter lady is amazing and take care of us a lot but their is a man that today we asked to remove service charge and throw the bill away on a table when we asked !! But otherwise we rerun their again as food is lovely!! Also pet friendly and their is some parking infront
My friends and I we went to la Gioconda for the first time and immediately we felt like in Italy,we started with nice aperitivo,then straight with antipasto,delicious pasta,carbonara and meatballs were my favourite!! Definitely raccomended we be back soon

I have one single complaint.
First of all, before I say anything, this is a GOOD RESTAURANT. My wife and I ordered deliveries a couple of times and everything was always good. I'm from Caserta and even I thought the pizza was decent, obviously it's different from the one I grew up with, but still pretty good, I would have it again. So, overall, good restaurant, if you choose it you won't be disappointed.
With all of that said, here's my complaint.
I can forgive the fact that like all 'italian' restaurants in London this one wants to be a pizzeria too. I can forgive the ever-present, never-seen-in-Italy garlic bread (how can people eat that stuff?). I can forgive that a Margherita is 10.99 pounds, when in Naples is 4.00/5.00 euro, because pizza was invented specifically to be affordable food for the masses. I can forgive the presence of the Pepperoni, a type of pizza I had never seen before watching american shows. I can forgive that the 4 cheeses pizza has tomato on top. I can forgive the super american spaghetti with meatballs, at the end of the day they're yummy. I can forgive this London obsession with putting chicken on pasta. I can forgive everything, I understand this is a different market. Except one thing.
Why, oh why, in the name of Odin, Zeus and St. George, why do you have to cut pizza in slices? I'd be ok with it if it was four slices, but they cut it in a gazillion little pieces. Would you present a cake at a wedding already cut into pieces? I'm from Campania, that's where pizza was invented and that's where it reaches the highest peak, particularly in Naples and my hometown of Caserta. No one presents you with a pizza already in slices, unless you request it, and even then it's four slices, not twenty!
I'm fine with chicken, pineapple, jam, kebab, peanut butter, garlic mayo or whatever other absurdity Londoners want to put on their pizza. Put everything on my pizza, I don't care, I like experimenting! But please, don't cut it, leave my pizza whole!

This was our first experience here and we are making plans to come back asap. The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, for example we ran out of tomato sauce to dip into and she got us a hugeee bowl. The food was unbelievable for the price and it was clear it was all made in house with love. Will be back many times

Wonderful pizza, so tasty and the medium size is very big!! Loved it, had La Gioconda (mushroom, Italian sausage, mozzarella, buratta and truffle oil)

Went here for lunch with my girls, omg the staff was amazing!!! Just great service very chilled lunch and the Martin couldn’t do enough. Lively hidden gem.
Amazing food beautiful staff and Erzina is the best waitress around and a queen! This will be me and my partners new favourite date night place 10/10
