Like a mini version of Camden Market. Honestly speaking I didn't even know this market existed until I saw social media posts on it and I've been living here all my life. It's only open on the weekend from like 11am to 5pm and it's located past all the restaurants (could be the reason why I never knew about it since I only go until the restaurants and that's it) Anywho, this place is absolutely amazing and beautiful and kicking. If you're visiting here for the first time or just want a nice place to go during the weekends then I highly recommend going here. It's full of little stores that sell all kinds of stuff from food, to drinks, to books, to clothes, etc. You'll be hard pressed to not find what you're looking for. Highly recommended.

It's really more of a 4.5 but I rounded up simply for the quality of a few of the stalls. Excellent variety for a slightly touristy food market. Anybody who says it's "mostly Chinese food" has no idea what they're talking about, and as a further note, China has many distinct, unique cuisines that are very different from each other so just because they have writing in Chinese, doesn't mean they're selling all the same food. Stop being racist. We came here almost exclusively for the curry fishballs and HK street food stall but found much more. There is Hong Kong, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, British, Lithuanian, Brasilian, Tibetan, Greek, Jamaican, Eitrean, Italian, Turkish, Ethiopian, etc etc. Are they the most authentic ever? No. It's typical "street food market" type fare for the most part, but some are seriously good and very authentic. Prices are reasonable and expected for London markets. Not much seating/standing room inside but toilets are surprisingly clean. Have to give a big shout out to the best Turkish coffee I've ever had: 24 Karak! They have many different options but I chose the basic iced Dalonga coffee and it was awesome. The HK stall was also great. I wondered if this is the evolution of the food market that used to be smaller and across the street where I had unforgettable fantastic Ethiopian vegan couscous, almost 7 years ago. I think it may be, but I didn't get to try the Ethiopian this time, and it didn't seem like they had the dish I remember so fondly. There are also a few stalls with non-food items like jewellery, collectibles, accessories, etc.

A cracking place for food and drink of all descriptions, you could come every week for a year and not have the same meal twice. We plumped for Korean street food which really hit the mark. Seating out the back gives you some where to sit and enjoy your food in relative comfort.

I'm one of trader from Mitzi's Bakes ! I used to come here as it's a great place to stroll on weekends. Now that I'm trading. I must say as client and trader perspectives, Upmarket is absolutely the best ! They have amazing athmosphere, kind traders and staffs that make you feel welcomed. The market is very clean, great food and retail choices and has toilets too. Have free time on weekends ? Come on down and you'll not be disappointed.

I went there on Saturday. I do not know what it is like during the weekdays but I would recommend visiting it at the weekend. There were already lots of stalls around 11 o'clock, but few of them were just opening up. You do not have to come earlier.Huge different variety of food can be found, and also, the sellers keep giving you free samples right away. After a bit of stroll around, I was almost full and did not buy anything yet. If you wanna get your lunch and are not sure what you wanna it just come here, and you will find something for sure. I like this place and the whole Brick Lane for their markets and vintage clothes shops etc... also, the toilet is available inside, and I was shocked at how clean it was.

Situated along the vibrant Brick Lane, Upmarket is akin to an Aladdin’s cave, filled to the brim with a plethora of eclectic treasures. Its location in the heart of London’s East End makes it a popular haunt for those seeking the unique and extraordinary. Each stall within the market is a testament to creativity, offering a diverse range of artisanal crafts, vintage clothing, and unique knick-knacks. The atmosphere is vibrant, imbued with a spirit of creativity that is both invigorating and inspiring. A stroll through Upmarket is a sensory delight, with each turn revealing a new sight, sound or aroma. Whether you’re hunting for a distinctive piece of home décor, a novel gift, or simply seeking a cultural experience, Upmarket has something to offer. In short, a visit to Upmarket is a grand exploration, promising both surprise and delight in equal measure.

This food and clothing market appeared as a genuine surprise while we were making our way to the Truman Brewery and feeling peckish. The hall is packed with all sorts of tempting stalls selling hot food, drinks and sweet fancies. We plumped for chinese noodles and chicken but frankly all of the dishes on offer looked great. Just next to the food area there's a separate space for edgy and unusual clothing. I'm not much of a fashion victim but these stalls looked very impressive and worth browsing if you like to dress in your own style.

A vibrant market, in the middle of edgy Brick Lane/Shoreditch, with a wide selection of food and drink stalls for all kinds of tastes: from Chinese to Turkish, to Italian, to Dutch, to vegetarian and vegan. The food hall leads to a part of the market that focuses on vintage clothing, jewellery and much much more.

I recently visited Upmarket in East London and was impressed by the vast selection of food options available. The food court had a range of Thai and Chinese dishes, as well as other options like vegan burgers and salads. The desserts were particularly noteworthy and I appreciated the variety of tea blends offered. The lively atmosphere made it the perfect place for a casual meal with friends. Prices were reasonable for the quality and variety of food available. Overall, Upmarket is a great option for anyone looking for a diverse range of food options in a fun and relaxed setting.

This market is full of Asia food, please have to go to Jou Jou's Bites. The most authentic Taiwanese food I have ever tried in London. Must to try this Bao Bun, super juicy slow cooked pork belly, pillowy bao, with peanut sugar! Amazing 🤩

Love the food market selling international cuisine - not the typical mostly Asian food kind. Tried from the Cuban & Lithuanian stalls. The Cubans pork, plantain & mango sauce was a huge generous portion! While the Lithuanian stuffed pork and mushroom dumpling (mix) was a unique tasting experience.

There is no better place to eat a very delicious, cheap, and diverse food like this one. All the stalls have delicious food andthos food it's prepared by friendly people. You got to try dumplings, Thai pad, Korean food, indian curry, Erithrean bread, Brazilian casava cake, Lithuanian meat, and a gazillion other delicious dishes. Most of these dishes cost £8. The place is clean and you have plenty seats and tables. Toilets are also available . Just enjoy and don't forget at the end a fresh coconut water or a just squeeze sugar cane juice.

A good place mainly for a variety of different food of different origins. many halal options available too. nice place for a day out. other shops include clothes, paintings, etc. you can park alongside bricklane if you're driving. the only let down was that there wasn't enough seating areas to eat

A good range of food pop-ups. All made in place, good quality and good prices. The place is indoor, but still well ventilated. There are a few high tables to eat on and picnic tables available. Most food is Asians and South America. The location is perfect just in the middle of Brick Lane. Enjoy :)

Brilliant street food here. The portions are really big and should be shared between friends. The environment is very vibrant and uplifting. Every Saturday and Sunday. I'd recommend to come down with a few friends and explore the different cuisines. Let those taste buds explode with flavours from different parts of the world.

A true foodie place, this was an awesome place to visit and the food is amazing, I tried various foods and enjoyed every little bit. The sausages, the pizza, the ethnic foods, I can barely names everything, it was too much to decide on, I could say you would spend a bit of time trying to find something to buy, because it took me about 30 minutes. No matter what, this is a place where you would be to go more than once to eat all the foods, I am sure the locals come here more than one time.
