Nice and cosy hole in the wall breakfast place. Owner was really friendly, he ensured that me and my wife got seated and explained the menu to me. I nearly ordered the English bap instead of the full English breakfast (I didn't know what a bap was at that time). The English breakfast was worth it! It had the works, thick rashers of bacon, English sausage, fried egg, nicely charred tomatos and buttered sliced bread to go with the baked beans. Even comes with tea/coffee. All for under 10 pounds!

No frills place to get a solid English Breakfast at an affordable price. It was delicious. Mainly locals come here.

English breakfast comes with two slices of toast and tea or coffee. Bacon is deliciously juicy but have that nice crunchy glaze. Sausage is good and has a slightly crispy skin. Egg is good with runny yolk.

A great small Italian breakfast and sandwich shop where you can eat for under 5 pounds and that is rare. Staff is super-friendly and coffee is good too.

Old English Coffee House, is not located on a busy public area, but is a gem hidden around a quiet residential area. The cafe space is not spacious, & seating area is limited. During busy hours, it can get claustrophobic when dining in. It is recommended to order in for a take out instead. Menu is generally standard, & is similar to any other cafe places. Prices is within reason, & shouldn't be to expensive. Customer service is good, & staffs are friendly.

So nice to find a down to earth cafe doing simple food well- lovely (and quick)scrambled egg and not a skinny whatever/frappe/over complicated coffee in sight!

tried the sandwich and hot chocolate, the food was okay, maybe I should try the breakfast set, but the staff are friendly and the price is affordable considering the area. so, can’t complain :)

Solid food. Delivery is always fast and warm. I can rarely find a place that serves black pudding anymore, but they do. Worth it!

This is how a caff should be. Only slight downside, the seats are very tight. This doesn't bother me, being a slim Jim, but could be a problem for our more portly friends.

Great lil cafe, tucked away behind the embassies. Always busy with local trades working in the area, great team inside willing to have a laugh and get on well with each other. Not many pieces like this around the location.
