Very popular restaurant in the area. Cool concept and nice decor. The food was good but considering that the only thing on the menu is chicken, I would expect it to be perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. Service was good, friendly and speedy. Incredible value for two people.
Avoid sitting on the first two tables; even though there are two doors to keep the cold out, it really doesn't work and sitting right in front of that door is a killer.

A very lovely restaurant to go and eat at, Balham is a wicked South West London area to visit, there are a lot of restaurants, bars and places to go. This particular place is right by the station/underground, which is ideal. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. 😁 The half chicken was delicious and the flavours we're delightful 🔥 it was better than a Nando's style restaurant, as find that overly expensive for what it is, but here we also had a mix of fries and sweet potato with it and some IPA. Not particularly drinkers, but on this occasion we did. Milkshake, soft drinks all on the menu also, plenty to choose. Simple food menu, but in some situations that is ideal. A well worth visit if in the area. We give it, solid A***** LDT x

Amazing food at reasonable prices! The dirty burger and chicken is amazing. Flavours and texture are 10/10! Would and have recommended to all my friends

Best chicken we have ever had and we're from Melbourne! The service was really fast and kept checking on us. Had a great chat to one of the waiters at the end how they make the chicken. The apple pie was delicious and we wanted more of the mushroom burger. This is definitely the best meal we've had in London!

Food is delicious and nicely presented. Sauces are very tasty. Service is slightly haphazard on my two visits. Was hoping in second visit it would have settled down. There can be a wait for food to arrive, but its clearly cooked to order as you can see the kitchen.

The most succulent spit roast chicken I've had. In fact it's the only spit roast chicken I've had the pleasure of eating. I have now eaten here twice in different locations, each offering a different vibe thanks to different characters and personalities of staff but the chicken tastes the same (in a good way) not forgetting the sides. It's always a pleasure dining here with the rustic atmosphere & not to mention a little rhythm and blues.

Love Dirty Burger, new to Chicken Shop but the mix is a win with me. Great chain that keeps it simple and does everything right. For me, the best burgers in London, although 'roadhouse' rather than 'gourmet' style (and not oversized). Good cocktails too.

Sometimes it’s loud and packed, yes, but the food is amazing. Chicken is perfect but the apple pie +ice cream combo is something else!

The chicken burgers are fantastic, crispy and juicy. The wings to start are a great option, the hot ones being the best I think the other ones are a bit sweet. Really great place

A different venue to get a burger. Definitely lives up to the name "dirty burger", which was great. Busy but the atmosphere was fairly quiet, so we could talk
