Found this little cafe whilst waiting to check in to our hostel. We ordered sausage, egg, chips and beans and tomato omelette. We was all satisfied with our meals and how much we got for the price. The egg, chips, sausage and beans was £6.10 and tomato omelette £6.20
Great place for an English cooked breakfast, omelette or sandwich - I love the old fashioned old-school atmosphere & the booth style tables. Reasonably priced, tasty & fun to sit in. London has lost lots of good honest places like this so enjoy it!
I remember coming here, I had work in the morning and a meeting soon after, so I had no breakfast, this place was close I came in tried it and it was very satisfying. It's a small place worth the stay and eat
What a great cafe :) thankyou to the lovely family that own it. They took it over from another family that had it for years.. But in great hands.. Definitely the best chips in London with out a doubt.
A great all day breakfast!
I'm always astonished that when I come here it's not packed with customers. The family who own it are wonderful, the food is greasy spoon (however well done) and the decor is from the 50's.
Our family love it here. And the Spanish omelette is my favourite.
5 stars all around, lovely family run cafe, quick service, no complaints whatsoever! I come hear at least three-four times per week and never had a bad experience
Traditional, delicious English food. Great, fast service
Lovely family run traditional cafe. Reasonably priced.
A lovely little cafe. We went here for breakfast. There is a good choice of food and ours was good.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
This place was taken over a couple of years ago. I previously rated it five stars due to it's friendly service, and decent food, but more for the quality of there home made chips.
I'm glad to say the new owners had the sense to keep the chips the way they were. But any top caff needs some sort of pe
Excellent breakfast on the way to Lords. Highly recommend.
Good little cafe for a friend breakfast. Good coffee
We stayed at a nearby hotel around the corner whilst on a break in London and came here for breakfast each day after reading reviews. It truly is a hidden gem. The food was hot, freshly cooked and excellent quality and the prices were unvelieveble. I can't praise or recommend it highly enough.
Been using this place since the late 80s. Good, tasty breakfast and lunches, the current owners are decent folk. The boss man is not one for idle chitchat and prefers if you make your mind up, order and sit or just let the next customer through. This place is a rarity as there's hardly any old fashi
This small, local cafe has been around for years and although it's changed hands, the food remains first class. The new proprietor is a little dour and lacks the exuberance of the previous owner, hence the removal of 1 🌟 That's my only gripe. Today, I ate lunch here; Liver, Bacon, Chips, Onions and
Lovely family owned cafe also very clean. The staff were kind and welcoming.
Very affordable prices, will visit again.
