Amazing market of all things old and new. Exotic foods from different parts of the world. Vibrant and colourful - a feast for the senses. I really enjoyed the visit and will go there again.
Absolutely love Tooting Market! An incredibly vibrant and exciting market showcasing some of London’s finest restaurants in a busy bustling setting. There’s something for everyone and the competition means that only the best survive and thrive. From great kebabs at Mezet to some fine dining at the Sea Garden you will not be disappointed and if you are then the delicious half price cocktails will ease your pain!!
Though small, it has a lot of varriety. Foos from all over the world. Not a lot of textile thoough or clothes. Some very friendly shop owners. Outside in thw high street so many shops and a multitude of halal restaurent. Absolutely worth a visit when in London. Also very accessible via the Northern underground line. Closes late at 11pm. Tip: Do not go early as many shops open after 10.30 or even after 11. There are also public toilets. Just next to Tooting Market is another indoor market called Tooting Broadway as is the name of the underground station there. The biggest shops in the area are Primark and TK Maxx.
The market is one of the best markets in London. Excellent place to meet up with friends and have a delicious meal 😋
Good variety of food stalls. Clothing bags and fabric if you’re into that too. Prices of pints are normal London prices, no cheaper. Good vibe. A bit dirty though - and many I’d the shops are a bit grubby too. But isn’t that what makes a “market”? Clean and fancy can be found at a shopping mall. Also check out the nearby Broadway Market. More of the same but worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Terrific market with some amazing food. Right by the is a top clasd Chinese and Thai (see photo) take out, also inside there is a an amazing Italian and a wonderful Jamaican restaurant, also - clothes altering - Ana and her team are wonderful, great value
Nice place, a lot shop. Just the toilets was dirty...
An amazing little zone of food and beverage outlets.
Had a delicious pizza, followed by a Greek wrap, absolutely delicious.
The best part, pints of beer for £3.50, where else in London can you get that?!
Unfortunately, most of the boutiques are closed in the middle of the working week, but there is a money exchange office and excellent prices for fruits.
