Lived previously in Vietnam for 3 years. Most food sold as Vietnamese in London just isn't up to Vietnam standard. Tay Do is the best I've found in London and as good as you get in Vietnam. Have been going for several years. Recommended.
Nice food and nice place. All's awesome. I always have happy time in here. :)
Excellent service for a large group booking. Food was delicious x
Everything is so Yummy! Worth going.
Love the food and the choice on the menu. Will be back again soon!
great food - good service. We come back soon :D
Brilliant phó. We come here every two weeks for phó and duck. It's not the fanciest place, but if you want tasty Vietnamese then this is the place ☺
There's no shortage of selection for decent Vietnamese fodder along this strip of Kingsland Road as everyone knows. Have tried them all and this is my favourite for Pho. The broth is rich and full of umami and the noodles have a great consistency. Yesterday I tried the Beef wrapped in Betal leaves with rice paper and salad... highly recommend that too! Its not a fancy place and always packed so don't go there for the service. If you want good food at a reasonable price with BYOB then look no further! Miso satisfied!
Went here on a whim and no regrets. The restaurant is fairly large and the people running it are very friendly.
Food arrived quickly and the portions are large. I had the shaking beef while my dining companions ordered pho and the Vietnamese pancake. We also ordered a papaya salad to share.
The papaya salad was refreshing and the veggies nice and crisp. The shaking beef had a really yummy sauce. I wish the beef was just slightly more tender. The char on it was delicious and the sauce was great with the rice on the side.
I look forward to coming back here and trying more on the menu!
Top notch food, top notch service.. Atmosphere so so, but that's what one has to forgo if one wants a nice hidden gem Vietnamese food in London at a price not risking a hole in your wallet. Best time to come during afternoons where crowd is non-existence (still baffles me to date). Overall, one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in London.
Best restaurant on this street.!! If your on Kingsland road, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Vietnamese food. Their menu is extensive and the staff are very friendly. The service of the food was quick and the young waitress named Anna was very polite and lovely. She made sure to accommodate us even while the restaurant was very busy. The restaurant is very clean and tidy.
This place has a very homely feel with a bright and traditional Vietnamese decor. This is my go to place whenever I want to introduce Vietnamese food to my friends. I definitely recommend the Vietnamese drip coffee but on this occasion as the weather was hot I had the lemonade which quenched my thirst nicely. The food was fresh and the presentation was amazing. I ordered the number 51 which was vermicelli with grilled pork, pickled carrots & radish with a spring roll and Vietnamese dipping sauce and my friend ordered the flat noodles with Beef. The food was not greasy and the taste was delicious.
They also have another branch across the road which caters for a larger number of people which is great to know if you have a future celebration. Their menu also have images too so you can have visual of what the meal would look like. Once again I left completely full and cannot praise this place enough. Thank you for a great experience Tay do team (:
Kingsland Road defo the place for viet food. The environment was nice and the price is so damn cheap. Feels like we are back to 2019. I always suggest my friend to try out this place. Just because they are amazing. Pho was 11 and the spring roll was 6.50 so authentic. Still the same favor when I was there 4 years ago.
Went there a few weeks ago with a group of six friends. The restaurant is bright, busy, informal, and down to earth. Staff were friendly and we all enjoyed our meals. BYOB is a bonus. It's cash only so come prepared, but there's a cashpoint across the road.
Unreal food every time I come, the best Vietnamese in London hands down. Lovely staff, busy atmosphere in the restaurant. Definitely recommend
Delicious and very affordable vietnamese food. The vegetarian sharing platter for starter was great. The pho is huge and really really good. Friendly service. It's BYOB and cash only.
Packed and popular. The food comes quick and hot. But most importantly byob!
One of the better Bun Bo Hues (BBH) in London, the restaurant is spacious and doesn't need booking. Wait staff is polite and friendly. I ordered the BunBoHue and the Vietnamese Spring rolls, the BBH was genuinely spicy, like it's meant to be, portion is generous and flavoursome. The coconut juice tasted alittle watered down but effective against the spicy noodle.
Really lovely and authentic Vietnamese food. The portions for the starters and noodles were generous. Loved their banh cuon. Service was good and fast. Will recommend giving this a go if in the area.

Fresh food, great quality and reasonable price. Not many Vietnamese restaurants in London serve “Nem Nuong” Char-grilled pork patties with rice paper and salad, this place make it good! Vietnamese ice coffee should be first choice to order if you’re in love coffee.
