The pros : original setting, set in a vegetable stall of Borough market, and right below the railway. Onion was the best dish of the set menu. The cons : the industrial atmosphere can become overbearing after some time (particularly the constant noise of the trains). Prices are on the high side. Win
This place is an absolute hidden gem inside the very busy Borough market. We were a little tired walking around the market and wanted to sit down and have a bite, which is somewhat impossible at the Borough market. So glad we spotted Turnips and they were open. I appreciate what they did so I will give it 5 stars】It is a nice restaurant that connects with the borough market but is quite modern and posh. Their food range from 65-110 pounds, 65 for 2 courses, 85 for 3 courses, and 110 for 7 courses.

Great and tasty food, friendly service under railroads at borough market. My 10 year old son was also well taken care of, ate the tasting menu and liked it very much. He was able to visit the kitchen to greet the chef, it was an important moment for him.
