Great little India restaurant. The food feels and tastes authentic, the decor inside is quite intimate and romantic. Perfect for a romantic meal or with a small group of friends. The staff was friendly and efficient. The menu is very limited, this is the type of restaurant where you just go for the
Definitely swing by!
Great menu, good for who loves sharing.
The food is very tasty and well presented. Worth try and share all the dishes.
10 stars for the negroni!
Great atmosphere, great jazz music, great staff!
Food was really nice. Great authentic Indian food. Nice and spicy. Love that. Only downfall that actually ruined our evening a bit was the service. It was very slow. Restaurant was busy, but since we arrived it took then 1 hour to take our orders and 30min to get our food. Less to be said we were v
It's great to finally see Indian food been given the sort of setting it should have. The food was completely different to the usual indian take-away. Full of flavour, fresh and delicately cooked. We almost ordered every thing on the small menu so look forward to going back another day to get another
The food is superb, when it arrives. The restaurant opens at 6pm, we (2 people) arrived at 6.10pm. We were the second table to be seated and we ordered pretty much immediately and within 10 mins we had the starter. Perfect. Then something went wrong and it was an hour wait until the next dish was se
Simple and cosy atmosphere. It was a relief that the menu was small, just a couple of dishes, and they worked really well shared between 2 people. The food was full of flavour and fresh, service was great. Very much enjoyed the evening here
I was very impressed with place and thankful to my friend for sharing this little gem with me. The food is outstanding. Some classic Indian flavours but still a very interesting menu - this is not a standard London curry house. The smaller plates were the stars.
Was very tasty really liked the Chora Fali bits, we ordered the half portion of the main dishes along with rice and tasty popadoms, for two of us. Filled us up well! Drinks were nice too and the atmosphere has balance :) We'll be returning!
Food was the best Indian I’ve had in the neighbourhood. It wasn’t too greasy and the ingredients were fresh. I agree with other commenters that it was a little bland - our whole party thought it needed more flavour and spices. (Not pepper, but spice)
But in general - and this counts for so much - t
One of my favourite restaurants in London... and I was born here and know many restaurants! Divine food with hear and soul. Healthy and nutrient dense and fairly priced. And great service in a fabulous location. Can no fault.
small selection of very fresh and very good food
The food is very fresh, tasty, and not the usual uniform curry taste. The combination of textures and individual tastes is exquisite in each dish, like the crunchy first starter (Papdi Chaat) with its pomegranate seeds. The small menu (online on their
Delicious vegetarian Indian cousine. The menu changes every now and then and you get to choose from a few options. You can share even the mains but beware that portions are on the small side. Really enjoyed the paneer main dish and the bread was amazing. Very good coctail options
Absolutely fantastic Gujurati food. We had all three starters, two small versions of the main portions and some Methi na Thepla (a flabread). All were delicious but the handvo stood out. Wonderful soft drinks as well. Friendly and attentive service, and, importantly, not overbearing or invasive. The
Simple, delicious vegetarian Indian cuisine done superbly. Looked after from the moment you walk through the door until the moment you're chatting to the chef and getting a goodbye handshake outside.
We went in with an open mind as to what we would order and ended up having pretty much a bit of eve
