Best!!
Bestest !!
Loved it. Absolutely!!
No confusion with that one.
The first day at London & my colleague took me there & we took a quick scan of the menu which was simple & we quickly ordered noodles with cashew nut chicken.
Now let me tell you, originating from northern part of India with blends of southern flavors, I am very particular about chicken.
I loved every inch of that cashew nut chicken & it tastes very much yummy with noodles. However, the same dish did not taste as delicious with rice as it did with noodles. I highly recommend cashew nut chicken for every chicken enthusiasts.
I have again tried brown rice with sweet & chilly chicken but it was good but somewhere I felt it tasted much sweeter & did not feel the chilly except for the word it was written in menu.
I again tried white rice with another flavor of chicken which was placed just ahead of cashew nuts chicken. I am sorry I do not recall the name. It was okayish.
I loved the friendliness of the staffs n their warm attitude. Loved the place. I have been visiting this place often & they do have a place for seating which I noticed on my 3rd visit but I usually prefer their take away.
I absolutely loved the place but I would love to see them change their take away box of food. A little thicker would do.
Thank You guys !!
sabse achi jagah apne area ki lagi mujhe to ye. ye dukaan par sab tarah kaa khana milta hai bhaiyo to sabkoo yaha ek baar zarur aana chaiye.
Great spot to pick up lunch. If you are getting something pre-made you can skip the ever long queue for the self assembled bowl. Terriyaki Chicken is always fantastic and a new addition to the menu is the Pad Thai which looks delicious and I'm dying to try! Reasonably priced, friendly faces and great fresh, zingy food.
It's £3.90 for a box of a delicious, freshly made Thai dish with boiled rice (options include green curry, red curry, massaman, penang chicken, tofu + mushroom),
This restaurant serves excellent food on the go. It is in good portions and is reasonably priced. The ingredients are fresh and the food is full of flavors. The service is spot on. It is not suitable to sit and dine but for a quick bite to be taken away, it is perfect.
I am very glad I decided to try this place. I went here in a group of five and each of us was delighted by this place. The food that we had ordered came in very generous portions and we all found it to be delicious. The prices are more than reasonable! The staff is also quite nice. Highly recommended.
I cannot praise this restaurant enough. I would like to eat here every night for the rest of my life. The food is delectable and sumptuous. The portions are gigantic. The prices are very cheap and it is basically a steal. The place is usually very crowded and they have a small sitting area.
I am a big fan of the restaurant and cannot be happier after my dinner here. The Thai red curry along with beef is to die for. The service is spot on and the staff is very nice. the portions are gigantic. The prices are very cheap, the food is a steal.
The queue at lunch says it all but don't be put off by the throng gathered at the door. They have an efficient system that keeps the flow of people moving.
The portions are massive and extremely flavoursome AND you'll pay less than anywhere else in the area. Top lunch location for the ravenous.
Papaya is like a little secret that is passed around among office workers. A friend who used to work at Mayfair introduced me to this little gem when my office moved to Green Park.
They start serving lunch from 11 am and they refill most of their curries again at 1 pm. Don't be disheartened by the queue you see outside of the store, their service is very quick and the queue moves fast.
If you are picking sushi from the shelves you can jump the queue and directly pay. Otherwise you choose either a bed of steamed rice or noodles or even both for 1 pound extra and then a curry. If you are going there for the first time, you can close your eyes and choose Thai green chicken curry. It's super-duper delicious.
My other favourite curries are red cashew chicken and penang chicken. For vegetarians they also have tofu curries.
Whether you are eating in or taking out, the box-meal is priced at 4 pounds. It fills you right up to your mouth. If I have any meetings after lunch, I avoid eating the whole box and save some for later.
Like a good colleague (and foodie) I have passed the 'Papaya secret' around and half my office could be found there most of the weekdays!
Good food at a good price for lunch takeaways in Mayfair. You are bound to find a que outside this place during peak lunch hours. Quite like the Thai green curry and the Tom Yum Soup. Prawn crackers aren't bad either. Get there before 1:30 pm to make sure you get your choice of dish as it tends to finish early :)
Unusual noodle bar in Mayfair. Very cheap for the area. Mainly takeaway but has room for a dozen or so to eat in. Large pans of a few stir fries that you can have with rice or noodles. See photos for basic menu. They also have more subtle Vietnamese dishes and sushi. Very pleasant servers.
Reasonable. Been going to this place for years. Prices have been creeping up to £4.80 for curry with rice. The quality of the meat is not the best but overall good size portion.
Not only the Thai food is nice choice for lunch, sushi is nice too. They have good supply of salmon but not sure why they stopped doing sashimi.
best thai food in london full stop. have eaten here for years. just look at the lunchtime queues. its mental. recommend the mussaman and infact everything else aswell.
Great food, but why a have they stopped selling the Salmon sashimi? It was one of the best...
Massive portions for 6 quid, easy cheap mayfair lunch
Good food and portions for not Mayfair prices. Great
Very fast service, good value and I have always found the quality okay for the money.
Great take-away Thai. Would definitely recommend.
Good bargain quick bite at the posh Mayfair neighbourhood.
Easy quick and yummy food!
Delicious and not overpriced.
