Unexpected gem for sushi in this area. Food was presented wonderfully, lovely service and restaurant set up. Small but laid out well and clean. Most of all (especially nowadays) appropriately priced menu for sushi.
Yano Sushi became my favourite Japanese restaurant in South West London the first time I had dinner there. The food is just delicious and looks beautiful, it is clear that the chef make it with love and passion. The owner and the staff are very friendly and very attentive. The restaurant itself is very cosy and has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit!
Lovely sushi place in South London. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Very clean and tidy kitchen, toilette and also very much. Lean and elegant. The food is exquisite, very fresh ingredients and pretty presentation. My favourite was the Gunkana and the Dragon rolls. I'll definitely go back and try more of their food on the menu. We ordered 8 to 10 dishes and some drinks, 5 people and we paid 35£ each. Reasonable prices and good quality food!
Brilliant sushi. Very fresh and helpful staff. Nice music and great decor. Definitely worth a visit. I had the Yano mix and my girlfriend had a selection of different types of sushi.
Delightful experience. The tuna sashimi was so tender it melted in your mouth, and the dragon roll and gunkan equally delicious. Their vegetable and chicken gyoza respectively also gets a big 👍
Presentation looked great, service was quick and friendly, and the bill was very reasonable considering the high quality of the ingredients. We'll be back, probably this week (:
Highly Recommend! Visited for the first time here on Friday with my family and will definitely be returning! All the food was absolutely amazing. Our favourites were the tempura prawns and crab dragon rolls! Special mention to the chef, not only for the great food but who was extremely friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Literally my favourite sushi place in Clapham. I order from here at least twice a month. Highly recommended the dragon rolls and vegetable ramen. Consistent, high quality food every time and great service.

Nice to see the older sushi restaurant has been replaced! As said the sushi was fresh, well presented and somewhat decently priced for the portions. Really good and large Spicy Tuna roll! The only minor things that need work - the rice, which could use a little more vinegar, sugar and fish oil. Good sushi rice has a slightly nutty flavour. And he uses blue crab instead of Spider, King or Snow crab in the California Roll. Using any other crab is plain wrong as they are more bitter and have a different flavour not suited for sushi. Go ahead and pay a little extra Ronaldo.. we will pay for it. Thankfully he doesn't use crab stick! ;)

Didn’t expect such a good quality food in such a tiny place! Loved every dish - particularly recommend duck salad and dragon roll.

Saw the new look and wanted to try. However was a little cautious but had heard good things about the new chef. All I can say it easily past expectations, great value, presentation incredable, totall recomend.
Outstanding sushi and hot food! And it transported so well too. My SO says it’s the best fried chicken he’s had in a while (though I admit it looked like nuggets).
I loved the fried sushi, which I haven’t been able to find outside America, and the Cali roll was pretty good. Their pickles were so so but their sushi ginger was excellent. They threw in some free edamame too which was a nice touch.
Great sushi, great service and v good value.
Get the deep fried rice with tuna tartare!
