1st visit called in whilst passing Friday 5 January. Had Black coffee (not American) with cold milk separate. Excellent. Also the croissants, baked in St Albans near the owners home, and brought in daily.
So good rather than have coffee in our hotel on leaving on the Saturday morning we called in again. Their Black coffee superb although the American somewhat weaker.
Owner & staff well informed about coffee, pleasant, effective without being full-on. Well worth a visit and have already recommended to several friends who are London theatre bound during January/February.

If you need to get lunch or coffee in Covent Garden, don't want to break the bank, and have a chance to sit and read your book...this is the place.
Their espresso-based drinks are top notch. The macchiato and flat white blew nearby Monmouth out of the water. I haven't tried the filter yet, but suspect that it's of a similar high quality. Beans are mostly sourced from Alchemy, but the owner says they'll be introducing more in the near future.
I love the coffee here. I usually order cappuccino, and the bean choice and milk are both great.
An unusual number of customers seem to say 'have a good one' to the barista, so maybe try saying that when you leave.
Great little spot. Coffee is one my Top 3 in London. Friendly staff and good food too. I'll be making my way to Covent Garden more often for an excuse to visit :)
I regularly attend this cafe between events and commitments in London. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and I find the products they offer are of very high quality and, crucially, very good value considering the cost of other shops nearby offering similar services.
I am always left with a positive impression by staff and have never had any complaints
This coffee shop located in the posh Covent Garden neighborhood serves delicious flat whites and long blacks. Pair them with a breakfast sandwich and take a seat at the window to people watch on this lovely street.
