I love this place..delicious food, great service, reasonable prices, good portion sizes and low-key, relaxed atmosphere..
The cheapest and most delicious Thai food in town . the staff are very friendly too .
Ordered home delivery (via amazon)
So so glad to have found great quality Thai delivered home. Between ho-ja for light meals and Thai rice for spicy Asian, my bases are now completely covered.
The dumplings and fish cakes were good. But the soups and main courses were outstanding!
I mentioned my prawn allergy when ordering online and was called by the restaurant to be informed that tom yum soup and the Thai curries had shrimp paste in the base. Since I'd ordered just one of each of these and had some other stuff too, I chose to continue with the order as there were other people at home who could have the shrimp stuff. But, I'm glad they told me, so I could avoid those dishes.
The crispy soft shell crab pad Thai was amazing! I guess this was also partly because chicken pad Thai never tastes as good as regular pad Thai (with shrimp) - developed the allergy 15 years ago, so I still remember how I would like certain dishes to taste.
Tom kha gai - chicken coconut milk soup was mind blowing. I'd asked for extra spicy and the parallel sweet and spicy flavours were a riot.
Their egg fried rice and red curry got thumbs up from the others.
I'm super excited that I finally have a place that I can order home delivery from when the craving for spicy Asian food coincides with lethargy of not wanting to leave home.
Awesome Thai food. The noodles were so succulent and the dish was very flavourful.
Highly recommended. The interiors, ambiance and everything is authentic.
Authentic and affordable Thai food. Frequent this restaurant quite often and it is my favourite Thai restaurant in London. Food is authentic (some Thai friends rate this place very highly) and the service is pleasant. Not too pricey as well. Only complaint is it's tucked right at the back end of Portobello Road and not that easily accessible. But believe me if it was I'd be there a lot more often!
Thai Rice is a pretty average thai restaurant, I came here the first time I walked along Portobello road and I realized that in the evening there are no open restaurants except for a few pubs and for Thai Rice. It's a nice place but nothing special, the decor is pretty simple and it feels a lot like a place for locals. You wouldn't travel far to come eat here.
The food is pretty standard, they have a good variety of thai dishes. I had an aromatic duck appetizer and pad thai which were both pretty good. Their prices are pretty reasonable and the service is quite good so overall it's not a bad place to go to if you're in the neighborhood.
Cosy and comfort through and through! Very quirky decor that fits right in with the vibe of Portobello Road. Great selection of authentic Thai dishes and food was delicious. Staff were lovely and attentive, will definitely be going back.
A very pleasant experience, been a while i had thai boat noodles in the uk, not many places do them.
I'm happy to find one in Portobello road.
Great service. Cannot rave anymore about the food! Omg from the drinks to desserts my oh my so delicious! We ordered Thai Iced Tea (my sister ended up getting a second one~you can really taste the condensed milk at the bottom which is just chef’s kiss 🤌🏼; fried wings, Tom yum soup, dim sum, lots of rice, of course; stir fried greens; white sausage (from their ‘Thai Food lover’s Menu’) and you have to get the green tea ice cream and the Durian flavour too!

Had a lovely time. Staff very friendly.
Not too many customers when I ate there on a weekday. No-one wore masks.
My friend is a regular here. I had sesame prawn toast starter (huge portion big enough to share). Very yummy noodle dish with king prawns. Don't recall name 🤦🏻♀️
The restaurant at front has the most creative ambience. We sat at the back at the top of the stairs on the way down to the toilet(!)
OMG! That's amazing food, I love that..and staff very friendly...definitely will back!!!
A beautiful gem. Great service and the atmosphere is so nice, perfect for a more intimate date. The food is very tasty and portions are large for what you pay for, will definitely come again!
Really enjoyed all of the food we had, specifically the wonderful sauce of the red curry and the delicious tom yum soup. The service was also excellent
Lovely place, quick service, staff really friendly and using masks at all times. Food was delicious. I will for sure go back!
I came into watch the world cup and was greeted by smiling faces of Phil and Nina. The service was amazing and the food was DELICIOUS. I recommend anyone who is the area to pop in for a bite and great atmosphere.
Why is there not a line out the door? This place was amazing. The Tom kha soup is the best we’ve ever eaten, and the Panang curry was euphoric. Lastly we had a noodle dish that was the link that tied it all together. Highly recommend! Oh… one more detail… lovely ambiance
First and foremost the service was friendly and relaxed - good start. The pad Thai with grilled king prawns was decent, good taste and good portions. Tried green jelly juice, unusual, didn’t dislike it, would opt for Thai ice tea with milk any day if given the choice. Loved the Thai fish cakes starter!
Nice cozy place with vintage rural atmosphere. Tasty and not expensive dishes. Great location - it is a pleasure to stay here and discuss impressions given by extravagant Portobello Road market.
Delicious food. Amazing prices. Really friendly service. Highly recommend!
Nice thai food eatery in notting hill! We dined here during the phase when only dining outside was allowed - quite nice street side dining too.
Very nice food and drink also good atmosphere, friendly staff. Good vibe, people, food and music
