Sambal Shiok - London - Photo album

Went there for lunch, and ordered the Special Laksa with Prawn and Chicken. Service was friendly and fast. They seated us even though we didn't have a reservation, but we had the table for an hour (which was more than enough). The chicken was a bit dry, and although the laksa was well seasoned, the
Finally I’ve fulfilled my craving! Many places I went for curry laksa but it wasn’t the one I wanted *I know it’s not easy to get in London. Until I found Sambal Shiok in Goggle and IG. Honesty is expensive and I admitted I fell in love with the Signature Curry Laksa *HOT (Chicken & Prawn Special) f
Good food, it has a western take o the Malaysian style. The staff were very friendly and the place has a cute layout, I would recommend this place. I personally loved the fried chicken, great taste and lovely home made peanut sauce. The laksa is decently flavoured and I like the spice levels. You sh
Fantastic little find. I went here on my own after a football game and the staff were so welcoming. I sat at the bar, which in some restaurants can mean sub- standard service, but here it was excellent! The food was delicious - they aren't joking when they say the hot chicken laksa is hot- it's real
Best laksa I've ever had, just so incredibly fragrant. I also had the fried chicken, which was amazing but a bit much if you're a solo diner, so bring some friends to get the most out of your Sambal Shiok experience. The rose milk to me straight back to my grandmas place. Lunch time is a good time t
We loved our meal here - we went for the fried chicken and Gado Gado salad for starters, which were both yum, and then had the special laksa (prawn and chicken) and chicken curry. Both were delicious and the rose milk was amazing! The cafe is really nice, with reasonable prices - was happy to see it
The food is really good and the service was incredibly speedy - almost too speedy! Felt a bit rushed. The Laksas are delicious but quite expensive at £18 a bowl. More expensive than we expected at almost £45 a head for a Laksa and a couple of drinks. The penang assam lassa is very unique and definit
Staff were very friendly and attentive and had pictures of the food ready for when I asked questions. The starters were really delicious, we had fried chicken and gado gado salad and they complemented each other so well. They specialise is laksa, and while I’m definitely no expert, the flavour was g
I love this place. The service is always friendly but professional and the food has never disappointed. The laksas are rich and the broth is thick and filling. I particularly like the chicken and prawn. However, even though I went for mild, it was a little too spicey but you can top up with coconut
The laksa is great but the place is overpriced for what it is. Special laksa was delicious, I asked for the hottest option and it was really flavourful. But the fried chicken isn’t worth the money, and even though the laksa was creamy and delicious, at £20, felt like it was an expensive casual eat.
Wonderful meal. I ordered the Malaysian fried chicken and the special laksa. Both were superb. The special laksa came with prawns, chicken and tofu. It was the perfect meal to battle the cold weather. Portions sizes were great. Service was awesome. Due to its popularity, our party booked in advance
Absolutely incredible laksa - hearty, spicy, filling and unbelievably delicious. I’m also a huge fan of the tofu puffs and their fried chicken. There’s also a well put together wine and drinks list that pairs really well with the food. Service is quick without being rushed. The staff are accommodati
Happy accident to stumble in here waking down Holloway Road. Food was really good and definitely had a kick to it. Beef Rendang was tender and good flavour. Sitting at the counter I could tell they were paying attention to every dish going out. Attention to detail seemed important, and have to t
