The Windsor Castle Pub - London - Photo album

We have been meeting there for debate club meetings since April, and greatly enjoy the beautiful interior, the friendly and helpful staff, the food and the reasonably priced drinks. Great place to come for a drink or meal in charming surroundings.
When I worked in London nearly 25 years ago this was my local and was called The Cardinal then. Service was excellent and still the best pint of Old Brewery around. It was great to return and have some wonderful memories and I must add the old place still retains that unique atmosphere. I look forwa
01/01/2023 I love the pubs in the UK and I enjoyed this one too. Though they may have been a little understaffed, due to New Year's Day, they were pleasant and a joy to interact with. We just had drinks so I can't rate the food. It's a Samuel Smith pub, which we were seeking out since my father in
This used to be my local and still a fantastic neighbourhood pub. Relaxed and lovely staff
Spent an hour or so here one Sunday afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed it, .... admiring the serenity, the food, the services, the beer, and most of it all, the beautifully restored period interior with fantastic glass and wood partitions. Enjoying a pint or two in this pub is like going back in time in
Great traditional pub next to the cathedral of Westminster. Pies are handmade and delicious and the cheesecake is exceptional! It has a various selection of Samuel Adams beers. It's affordable for the location. Great for a bite or a pint after visiting some iconics buildings around.
Really great Sam Smith's pub - space, beers, ambience. More traditional than glam.
excellent beer, great staff and really good food. what more do you need?
Cracking London pub - typical of the style in this part of London. Nice atmosphere and serving a great range of beers - I enjoyed a lovely pint of Stout. Well worth a quick one at lunchtime or a few in slower time after work.
Have been to this pub many times over the years and chose it for a post pandemic reunion of old friends, two with mobility difficulties. Extremely disappointed therefore, that the key to the accessible toilet had gone missing so my friends had to negotiate two flughts of stairs. To be fair staff op
Walking into this pub is like stepping back in time. Into Victorian London. And I mean that in a good way. It’s been beautifully restored with fantastic glass and wood partitions. Lots of nooks and crannies to get cosy in. Love the fact there’s no music too. I’ve only just heard about the draconian
Great pub always busy with locals looking for an after-work drink. The pub itself is a Samual Smith pub so don't expect the usual Heineken, Amstel, or Guinness on tap but don't let that stop you from trying their really tasty beers, even if it's not your go-to pint. This pub has Samuel Smith beers a
Lovely decor, very nice room at the back of the pub which is very nice though can get a bit loud at peak times. I definitely recommend this place.
Fantastic through and through. The decor is very classic with dark wood. Located in a quiet residential area that does not produce a lot of foot traffic. Great place for lunch after visiting Buckingham Palace. The beef pie and mushroom strudel were both quality examples of pub food. Great service.
This pub is in a great location, just behind a beautiful cathedral. The decoration is beautiful, bit traditional and at the same time fancy. The food was excellent!
Had a quiet lunchtime drink here with a friend. Friendly chatty staff and a great selection of Sam Smith beers in the best of Victorian surroundings. A real gem of a pub.
