Chook Chook - London - Photo album

What a great local Indian restaurant. Set around the theme of a railway carriage its got a lovely cosy interior tastefully styled. The service is impeccable and the food is quality with the right amount of "heat". Well worth a visit but based on tonight I'd recommend booking in advance.
I think this is the best Indian meal I've ever had. Very high-quality ingredients and great flavours. The lamb shank madras was our highlight, but the butter chicken was also fantastic. It was all reasonably priced, and the service was great. Would highly recommend Chook Chook to anyone.
We were greeted and welcomed last minute on a sunday, which was nice considering they were so busy! Chook Chook reminds me of Dishoom in central, which is definitely a compliment in terms of the decor. It is a little smaller and a more intimate restaurant though, which isnt a bad thing. The service
Good quality modern Indian food in chic atmosphere with decent service. If you lived in the vicinity, it’s a great place to come and repeat but sadly not really a place worth coming a long way for me 🙈
Hands down the very best Indian takeaway (and possibly overall across all food genres) I have ever had. Full of flavour, particularly the ‘railway curry’ - and in general, the spices and blends were far more detectable and subtle than often is the case with Indian food. If visiting the restaurant is
The food here is so good, it is like the affordable version of Dishoom. The Delhi Butter Chicken and Railway Chicken curries were amazing. Highly recommend!
One of the best Indian restaurants I've tried! The lamb shank melted off the bone, the railroad chicken curry was exquisite, the naan was a delight and everything was seasoned to perfection. Wide range of starters, from prawns to puri. We didn't even get to try everything we wanted to due to being s
Fantastic Indian food in Putney. This restaurant is a little out of the way of the main Putney area, but you’ll see that it’s never quiet. And that’s because the food is so good!! I’ve only been once but will definitely be returning: the only downside is the restaurant is a little small, so we felt
Absolutely amazing food! 👏 we ordered the butter chicken and some naans and lamb curry and it was very good. Desert was presented very nicely decorated. Food was served quick.
Went on a recommendation from a friend. We really enjoyed our experience. The food, flavours, presentation and service was great. Such a good little restaurant tucked away I. Putney. It was buzzing on a Tuesday night and I know why! Will definitely be coming back soon.
Absolutely the best restaurant in Putney so far. I am been living in here since 10 years now and shame I have finding out only now. Always busy but service always professional and fast to serve you. Food fresh and stunning. Portion are also enough to fill you up. Owner very kind and super helpful.
The unpretentious exterior of this little restaurant hides something very special. Interior décor is clean, quiet, tasteful and imaginative. We had booked a table for lunch time, ordering a shared starter, four different curries and desserts. Tableware was copper dishes and cutlery - beautifully pre
A great little gem in west London. This Indian restaurant offers some really good dishes. Butter milk chicken with juicy meat, lamb karahi also great along with good chaat, biriyani and sides. Really recommend!
One of the best Indian Restaurants in London, definitely the best of the South West area! Food is delicious, portions are generous and well presented, the waiters and the whole team are warm and welcoming, it is just a great experience to dine here!! If you want to feel like dining in an old train,
Amazing dinner and ambience. The timing of staff was sensational, always there when we wanted to ask or ready to order and food came out at perfect intervals. Thank you for a wonderful meal, we will be back!
Had the best meal ever! The staff are amazing, food is absolutely gorgeous - I love this place! Celebrated my birthday at Chook Chook and they made it a very special day! Thank you! By far my most favourite Indian Restaurant in London🩷
Generally very good as Indian restaurants go. Quite upmarket and sophisticated dishes and presentation. House daal was really good and the naan was exceptional. Other bits like papdi chaat were ok but a bit small in portion size. A bit pricey for what it is and was very busy on a weekday evening, a
