The Baring Arms - London - Photo album

The pub setting of the restaurant provided an open and bright space, creating a relaxing atmosphere for our late lunch experience. We were delighted to find that all the dishes we ordered were well prepared. One standout dish that truly impressed us was the quail.
Clean, air conditioned corner pub that felt more like a casual brunch place. We shared a roast with an extra side of potatoes and spinach. Given this was more of a pub, they surprised me with the vegetables. They weren't too salty, but not too bland. Perfect veggies with every dish. Their potatoes
Delicious wine & interesting menu. Everything we ate was top notch. Loved the quail shish. The space is beautiful with huge windows and nice light coming in. Portion sizes could be bigger but London these days… friendly service too. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it. Highly recommend!!!
Stunning. Gastropub at its best. We usually come here for the Sunday roast but this time had the bbq summer menus and it’s exquisite. Quite a lot of Middle Eastern flavours but very much elevated on the palate. Pet Nat is amazing and so are the cocktails.
Great gastropub with a good selection of plates of food. Everything was really well cooked and presented. The drinks menu includes half bottles of wine which is good if you don't want a whole bottle. Good portions and great service. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy to talk. Highly recommended.
A hidden gem in De Beauvoir for delectable food, warm service and an atmosphere that makes you feel so at home. Came here for dinner with friends on a summer evening. The stand out dishes were the tomato starter, the hispi cabbage side, and the custard and cherry dessert. Everything else was exquis
Best Sunday roast for a long time! My partner and I had a great lunch at The Baring. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked and prepared with care. So often, roasts can feel like mass catering, but this was nothing like that. The thick slice of beef was perfect, and the roasties were also great.
Fantastic food and great service. The only problem I had was paying £3 for a slice (yes 1 slice cut in half) of bread and butter. Happy to pay for food and wine - but felt unnecessary to pay that much for bread. Come back to the real world please!
Absolutely one of the best restaurants tried so far. It is small and quaint located in a quiet road between Shoreditch and Highbury and Islington. The ambience and decor are minimal and elegant. Service absolutely impeccable, attentive but not invasive. Food is just amazing. We ordered 2 beef dishes
What a divine lunch. From the moment we walked through the door, it was a lovely experience. The food was exceptional and blew me right out the door, I can’t wait to go back!
