Let’s give this place a 5 star! Fantastic croissants. Huge bonus for our vegan friends with the vegan croissants! If you’re staying in the High street Kensington area this is where you’ll want to stop to grab your viennoiserie:)
First time visit today, nice and friendly staff. I got the impression that this cafe has loyal customers. Prices are reasonable for the area. Coffee was nice, the outside seating appears to be in demand from repeat customers. Interior decor is quite relaxed aiming towards distressed look which is quite cool. Double power sockets under the seats. I need to do another visit as I wanted to give 5 stars, however, the pastries we ordered today didn't hit the mark for freshness. Definitely worth another visit.
Honestly dont know why this place only has 3.9 stars?? We had one of the baguettes and the croque toastie and omg it was so good. The almond croissant filling is legit too. 5 stars from the rest of the family too!
I had a cup of tea and milk chocolate cookie which was lovely. Hubby has three chocolate lover cake, really lovely. Bit pricey but we weren't disappointed with the quality so you get what you pay for. I would recommend it here for a treat.
Need a coffee and something sweet or more substantial sandwich and or a good loaf of bread? A pleasant experience with a couple seats on the walkway to better enjoy the parade of people. The Madeline are large, lemony and perfect with an espresso. The chocolate chip cookie perfectly chewy in the middle and crispy along the edges.
Can't go wrong with their pastries. Friendly staffs. Welcoming ambient. Cozy café.
Amazing cakes, pastries and breads. The custard flan was to die for!! Coffee was a bit on the cool side but a place for any foodie to visit.
The sign in the cabinet was wrong on two items, which I questioned and the staff member promptly updated. No issue.
The coffee was ok (not fantastic but ok) what really did stand out however was the customer service.
2 days ago another local business really let me down but Orēe in Kensington High Street restored my faith.
The gentleman service this afternoon (finished his shift at 4.30- management please look up who this was).
He was courteous, efficient friendly but most of all two things that fell outside his role he handled well
1. Compassion for a fellow human
2. A couple of ladies needed directions for transport, he could have fobbed them off but looked up and provided assistance.
The staffing you have here is right. This area runs risk of being pretentious and impersonal but you have it right.
Will be back for sure!!!
I went to Oree for a coffee on a rainy Saturday evening. The cafe is decent. It is clean and tidy. I really liked the coffee (had a cappuccino). The staff could have been more amiable. I guess they did not appreciate me sitting only for a coffee (even when I paid for the drink in). Also, the sitting place is not very lively and bright plus it is a bit congested. I might go again for a coffee but will prefer to take it away.
Fantastic place; in other words, heaven for the sweet toothed. Come here with a stirred up appetite and try the éclair and the chocolate dome! Pass on the custard flan, it looks far better than it tastes (deceptive). Overall highly recommend this for a sugar rush. Hope this helps, cheers!
Nice little French bakery. The almond croissants are very good. French toast breakfast was not as impressive though. Probably better for take-away than eating in.
nice almond croissant
blueberry muffin 7/10
Americana coffee 8/10
Nice place to sit inside and also outside .
employees are nice and services good
