One of the best Sunday roasts in a while - and the girl behind the bar with the arm injury is just a delight

So grateful that the beautiful red headed bartender with glasses was able to help us pick the best wine to match our meal. So happy and friendly, definitely made us want to come back!

Tom Kerridge has an infectious enthusiasm for food so a big thank you to him and all the chefs for putting this on and of course to the people of Marlow for putting up with all of us. Beautiful place

Refreshing outdoor seating. Nice ambiance. Welcoming staff. Good food and desserts. Buttermilk chicken burger and dark chocolate torte with hazelnuts and salted caramel are a must try. Good service.

Attended a party here at the weekend and staff were very accommodating, giving us a private room upstairs (we had booked tables outside but the weather forecast wasn't in our favour),  where we were allowed to have our own music/DJ, there was a TV for the guys to watch the Euros and buckets of beers were offered to be brought up from the bar for us. It's a fun, lively place - by 11pm people were dancing on tables!

We are currently in the process of finding somewhere else to live. Not only are we paying too much for this place, but our landlady has decided to increase the rent once our contract exprires. Can't blame her really, I'd do it also, but we don't want to pay it. So we are moving. We have been thinking about moving out further east for sometime now, mainly as the rents are cheaper, living is cheaper and it gives me another excuse to quit my job and look for another one. Now I can blame the distance, amongst other things. So off to Victoria Park we tromped to look round a few houses that we just about had enough money for. Just. But they were all the same. Nice area, crap flats. Finding this a lot recently. So scrap Victoria Fields off the list. Phew. I did find the area a tad dull to be honest so I am not too unhappy that we won't be moving there. Except that there is the Lauriston there. Which is part of the group that owns my own personal favourite pizza pub, the Regent in Islington. S

Very cute, cosy and conveniently placed alongside London Fields. Come rain or shine, this little pub never fails to miss what is needed. I stumbled in for a friend's birthday lunch, on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see the odd few other people, some whose eyes were transfixed to the match on the screens and absentmindedly knocking back their beers, whilst other tables were hipsters and their parents enjoying a substantial roast alongside a good bottle of Chilean red.We were nicely left to our own devices to chat until we were ready to make our orders/payments at the bar. Food came pretty quickly; massive dishes filled with roast beef, pork belly, chicken breast or nut roast. Nothing was limited; this was pub grub in its most glorious form. They also had an option of sea bass, but in the spirit of Sundays, I felt it appropriate to dive into the deep end and attempt a plate of nut roast with all the trimmings. I found myself defeated less than half way in.In birthday merriment, the lights went down and birthday song came on, whilst we paraded out with cakes. The staff were friendly and very much up for embarrassing the birthday girl with us, giving a light-hearted ambience. They were also gladly willing to trade in my tatties for their side of cheesy leeks, at no extra cost. For a mere £11, and a dirt cheap glass of house red at £2.70, I was sated for the whole day.A lovely place serving food at purse-friendly prices and offering a great ambience. In the summer, their outside terrace area is great for sipping cider as the sun goes down.

Pub on the Park is a beautiful little treasure found in Hackney. My mother had her wedding reception there and the staff and owners went above and beyond to make it as special as they possibly could. They platters were of high quality and amazingly tasty! Pub on the Park will always have a special place in my heart!

In the middle of London Fields, 5 minutes walking from the Broadway market, The Pub on The Park is the perfect place to spend an afternoon on sunny days.
You can find there a typical range of pub food. For my part, I have just tried the burger, served with fries for less than £10 , it's fairly cheap.
There is an outdoor terrace with big and comfortable sofas where you can chill with friends. Most of the time there are some families which makes the atmosphere much more pleasant.

This is a great pub. It's a solid 20 minutes walk from my home but I find myself returning here regularly, at least once a week. Food is very good, buffalo chicken burger has become my go-to, and the kitchen has very generous opening hours. Good views of the park, loads of outdoor seating, plenty of bathroom space. This place can get very busy but during the early afternoon on weekdays it's often quiet enough to sit and read with a pint or several.

A short visit to a lovely pub. I was made to think of School canteens of my youth with long tables and benches....Why didn't schools put in a bar ??? Attendance would have rocketed! The Pub on The Park is a bit ramshackled and well worn, I guess because everyone loves it and keeps coming back. Loads of outside seating and more inside that I have not discovered on this visit I suspect. A fare of burgers and hot dogs both carnivorous and veg based to keep those on solids happy. A fine place.

Pub with huge outside terraces overlooking London Fields. It's very busy, but it's pretty easy to find a table. They have a good range of beers, several from local breweries.

Great place to head to if you want some classic american smokehouse food and a good dance. The smoking area is packed during summer full of wonderful and interesting humans, a great place to have very random and beautiful moments of connection. Wouldn’t recommend between 6-10 if you want a chill vibe, but would recommend if you fancy some tunes, munch and vibes !

Lovely traditional pub by the park. Great place to stop by for lunch on the terrace on the weekend. I was impressed by the vegetarian / vegan options, ordered a veggie burger which was really tasty. My partner also liked his meat burger.

Came for a catch up and a pint. Ended up ordering the beef brisket roast, and it was delicious. A little bit more meat would've made it perfect!
