The Old Street Chinese Restaurant - London - Photo album

I’m impressed by the food. The menu has a wide range and includes some authentic dishes which you rarely see in other restaurants. The food are tasty and I really enjoyed the spicy sour green bean noodles. However, like other reviewers said, the dishes came in small portion which made the meal expen
The food is always very good. Too much szechuan pepper in the chilli hot pot on this occasion abd it was also a bit salty
Great hot pot, it is done all you can eat buffet style with you choosing how much of each option you want. Come hungry as the portion sizes were massive! The spicy hot pot was particularly tasty and we enjoyed the sauce section. The staff were attentive.
The food is always top notch. The Salt and Pepper Prawns are so good, we always double order them. The restaurant is great value too.
I’ve been here twice now and had a pleasant visit both times! I do not where the negative reviews on here come from! Really pleased with the presentation and flavours of the food. The menus are big with pictures to help you decide what you want. Food came very quick. I do think the AC could be turne
Always love having hotpot here with my friends. The staff is so nice and friendly. The price is really good compared to other Hotpot places I’ve been. Moreover, the quality of the broth and the meat is great. Highly recommend.
Came back here from one of my fav dishes, the lotus roots, still top quality but I’m giving four stars because portions are smaller and menu for less dishes compared to the pre-pandemic but it’s understandable, again still top quality 🙏🏻
Lovely food and a large menu of excellent quality food. We had the set menu and that certainly filled a large hole and at very reasonable price, service charge was added but not much. Definitely recommend this place and I have been there several times before and will go again.
Good food, fast service, very large menu. Tables are spaced out generously. Prices are fair
The food was pretty good, it really felt like I was back in China (I lived there for 2 years). It was overpriced though, and the service was quite slow. But still good if you want to have authentic Chinese food
I don't understand the bad reviews. Mostly they seem to be about takeaway, service or people not understanding this is a Sichuan restaurant. We had the hotpot, green beans and dry fried chilli chicken and it was all fantastic. Service was friendly.
