Kate’s Taxi Hut - London - Photo album

What a cool place. Built in 1901 and in a great location just around the corner from the British Museum. The food is simple fare of sandwiches and wraps...but fresh, delicious and inexpensive. Everything a tourist could want.
This is absolutely one of the best choice for IOE students. Peffect and inexpensive food with BEST service. Will keep on coming and enjoy my chicken escalope every week.

Wonderful carefully-made cups of instant coffee and of hot chocolate with generous amount of milk. Two outdoor picnic tables with fixed benches, in good repair. Nicely-maintained mini-garden. There’s a menu for food as well, but we didn’t try that.
Best sandwiches and coffee was delicious. Nice place to be and friendly staff. Highly recommend! 👍🏼

These places are London's best kept secrets. Originally just for cabbies some now serve the public as well. You can't go inside but step up to the hatch and get decent food friendly service and extremely reasonable prices. Then find a bench sit down and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.
One of only 13 remaining Victorian shelters in London, all Grade II Listed and all painted that particular signature shade of green* This commercially active shelter is particularly memorable; well maintained, splendidly decked-out and set against a busy streetscape. Serving mostly basic ‘old-school

When in Russell Square i always stop by at the best food stop for my breakfast roll and Coffee, can sit down and eat or take it to go, lovely place nice people, quality food, good value, say no more.
Just all round lovely. Price quality is very high, the woman there is very nice. A lot of variation possible and if it is not on the menu you could pobabaly order it!
Only 12 or 13 of these left in London now. This one is always well kept due to frequent films using the area. The huts can be used by the public but only for takeaways. Good honest food teas and coffee at a good price. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Tea & a Bacon baguette = breakfast sorted. If I'm in the area & need a tea/coffee & a roll I try to Pop in. It's not the place I would go to get a falafel!! But a breakfast roll yes ☺️
