The service is efficient and friendly. The decor is spartan but the ambience is convivial. The lack of a polished interior design job is reflected in the prices. When eating there, I often find the bill will be £10-12 per person for a curry with several sides to share (if some of the mains ordered are vegetarian).

This is the best local Indian restaurant in the area. The staff are lovely and the kitchen produces classic Indian cuisine with a modern twist.

I think you can judge an Indian restaurant on the quality of its vegetarian dishes - and Guglee serve the best vegetarian Indian food I've had in a local restaurant.

If you ask nicely they'll teach you how to make the best masala chai too!

Beautiful restaurant with a lovely, comfortable decor, can accommodate a few people, even though it is not that big. Staff are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable of products, dishes and ingredients. The dishes that we tried were absolutely out of this world. Loved the lentil soup starter and I would totally have it again and recommend to everyone to try. Also the food was not that spicy, so suitable for everyone!!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the punjabi samosa chaat from the street food menu..

Went to Guglee for dinner and loved it! The staff were friendly and helpful and recommended really good choices for me and my friend. I had one of their favourites the butter chicken and the waitress said she could ask the chef to make it a bit spicy too. It was super delicious and I would eat again! Also special mention for the garlic naan as it was great. Well priced and quick service. Highly recommended.

really surprised to see so many negative reviews of this restaurant. We visited it for dinner and all food we ordered was great ! In fact, one of the best Indian meals I've had. Not sure if the service is worse if you order from them online:(

Really good food. Nice wine. Got really disappointed when it came to dessert. i did not fancy ice cream and the only one pudding i was interested in wasnt available.. Then we choosed something what was called "deep fried waffle balls". it also says that comes with some syrup which has tasted like huge amount of sugar dissolved in hot water. The "balls" were soggy and terrible tasting. If you wanna have a dessert after your meal I highly recommend to change local, however the meal was really good tho.

I give them a 4 star based on the waitresses, service was very good. There are loads of dishes on the menu, ordered dishes I know and couple of street food starters that I didn't. Food was decent, nothing exceptional. Environment was clean

This is one of the best curry houses in London. The butter chicken is excellent, as is the chaat, and the lamb chops are delicious. Curry has taken a slide in the UK over the last 20 years but this one of the few that has high standards and good ingredients.

It's amazing! Best Indian restaurant ever. Amazing curries. Everything is handmade and the service is great. I've been a regular customer for more than 4 years

Large selection of curries and Indian dishes. We had Lamb salan and Handi chicken. The dishes are not extremely spicy, the sauces are delicious and the meat is slightly dry, especially the lamb.

Fantastic Indian food, definitely one of the best casual independents in the city. Lamb shank is to die for and the paneer curries are delicious. Local feeling.
