Fish and chips were very nice, good portion , light batter on the fish and the chips fried to order . The peas were a bit unseasoned , coleslaw ok. It felt a bit expensive overall.
I ate here when it first opened and was a little underwhelmed, but apparently they had problems with their equipment and had to close for a while. Since reopened, I returned and was surprised at the improvement. You can take away or eat in the restaurant space next door (as I did). The chips were good and the haddock very crisp and tasty. I liked it a lot. £9.50 for the fish & chips.
Great food. Best option for fish and chips around Peckham
We order only some fish this time. And Fladda send some extra chips to upgrade our diner.
Fantastic
Many thanks 😊
Best fish and chips in town. I think I need to go to get some right now….
Bit spenny to sit in but worth it, great place to have locally
May be the greatest fish and chips you'll find in London. Oh that batter!
Great fish and chips! Best in Peckham
I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. This isn't your typical fish & chips shop. Amazing seafood (the mackerel bap especially), great selection of beers and wines, huge portions and quick service.
Strangely though the nice waitress that we like left and we have had a new person serve us every time we have been back since. I wonder whether there is a management issue.
Really good chips. They also do an ethically sourced, free range battered sausage which is lovely too. I would highly recommend. I don't eat fish because of over fishing but they do serve MSC fish, which is more sustainable than most.
The fish and chips here are very very good. I ordered a portion of fish and chips, and a side portion of Calamari and some tartare sauce. Got it home, and the calamari was still crispy on the outside, as was the fish.
A good start.
The size of the fish was decent, as was the portion of Calamari, and the chips were very good.
The Calamari was perfectly cooked, with a good bite and snap, and not at all chewy. The fish was flaky with a good flavour and the chips were as good as chips are going to be considered they're just fried potatoes. But I can say they were much better than average.
It's a new place it seems, or maybe I've just never noticed it till now.
But the owner seems like a nice fella. Service was brisk courteous and professional. Good hygiene practices were followed and the shop was very clean, and modern looking.
They have a restaurant next door apparently but I did not venture there, they also have some seating outside.
This is going to be my new regular chippy going forward as I enjoyed the food served here.
I'll also consider eating in if the opportunity arises.
This is the first time I've been here since the new look. I was impressed, not only with the way it looks but the service too. The food I tried was 'fish bites & chips' so can only comment on these. They seem to be a popular choice as everyone before and after me ordered the same. They were delicious, cooked fresh, served in a bag and only £5. My only bug bear was the tartar sauce was very over priced.
Best fish and chips ever!!!! Portion size is generous, served in boxes(no washing up!😋) so stays crispy and fresh. The best curry sauce! And.. The best quality fish and chips in TOWN!! Well done FLADDA!!!!!!!!
Best fish and chips in South London. I've had it to eat in before and ordered on Uber eats multiple times and it's always spot on, great portions, great flavour! The only thing they need to do is keep everything exactly as it is!
The best fish and chips in south london in my opinion . Crispy batter , plump white cod , crispy but fluffy chips and next level mushy peas . Decent value to for the quality delivered.
Really grateful to once again have a decent chippy within walking distance of our home. Particularly impressed by the redecoration and improvements made to the food. Fish was fresh and lightly battered, chips firm and golden, served with a huge portion of mushy peas. Highly recommended for both dining and taking away.
I've been to Fladda a few times now, four times at the takeaway and three times in the restaurant. The food is generally excellent and knowing that you don't mind waiting a few minutes at the takeaway for your freshly cooked fish and chips. The restaurant, while cosy and nicely appointed, is a bit expensive once you start adding extras such as drinks and dessert. The atmosphere is good with background music not being intrusive. The service in my experience is very good. It is great to have a quality fish and chips restaurant/take away in the area once again. Best buy is the yummy fish bites and chips for £4!
Delicious and child friendly. The portions were huge and the kids menu was really good value.
