Mirth, Marvel And Maud - London - Photo album

Tremendous cocktails that dazzle and delight the tastebuds. This former cinema's grand entrance foyer is peppered with retro furniture and interesting ornaments. As ghandi once said "one man's trash is another man's treasure". Sofas are provided for sitting and pinball machines for the adrenaline ju
Six of us including two kids ate here early Saturday evening. Everything we ate tasted fresh and was well cooked including two medium rare steaks which were really good. The venue has an interesting atmosphere, a bit like being on a film set. Staff were friendly and efficient. Wildcard beer in bottl
Comfort Inn. A bottle , the show goes on, how many times have you been to a show then afterwards you have to go, but this is almost like for A cinemas, where you had to go and be entertained ,/// too you can actually reboot, inner self (talk, smile, listen, share, all in your local m.m.m ,,πŸΊβ˜•πŸΈπŸ·πŸ½οΈπŸŽ°
What a fantastic way to make use of such an iconic building whilst maintaining its originality. So nice to visit after so many years - brings back lots of childhood memories! The food is OK but it really is a great place to go for a drink.
A really unique space, with the chipped paint and trailing wires only increasing the atmosphere of faded grandeur. Multiple bars and venues. There could be a few more seats: even when it's fairly empty, you sometimes struggle for sofa space.
Really beautiful huge building inside, with amazing art deco design. Nice selection of drinks and good, reasonably priced roasts on Sundays. Desserts not as good as mains, but nice food.
Lovely venue, great food and drinks at excellent prices. Would definitely go there again.
Nice place but only had a drink
Β£8 Cocktails, 30s Vibes (but not 30s music), v. nice atmosphere quite hard to find tables on Friday nights, but a good experience nevertheless
Amazing building which someone told me was a 1930s cinema in art deco style. Seemed to be a lovely queer friendly safe space with super friendly bar staff.
A very interesting venue with fantastic cocktails. Try their pornstar martini!
A very nice place with a special atmosphere (especially with the old movies being projected onto the wall), very lovely to have a drink at. During our visit (I'm Saturday evening) they had a DJ, which was nice and the music was also quite good, not the typical party music, but it was so loud we coul
Great multi-purpose venue with good acoustics and food. It has a friendly, chilled vibe perfect for enjoying a live gig. It's steeped in the rich cultural fabric of "The Stow." However, it could do with an updated and laminated drinks menu as half of the drinks on the paper one I read hadn't been av
I love this place! Also, if you don't drink booze but enjoy alcohol-free beers, they have an impressively wide selection: Bavaria, Lucky Saint, Big Drop's IPA, Stout and Lager. They also do Seedlip cocktails. From someone who can no longer drink the real thing - THANK YOU! Such a gorgeous venue with
This place was a major icon for the borough for many decades as a cinema. To convert part of it into a bar/restaurant/social place is fantastic. A great place to meet with friends, to go and chill, well spaced out, lovely bar food and reasonable priced drinks makes this a great place to go to any da
Massive and beautiful, with great beer and friendly staff. What more can you want? Well they do great live music and (apparently) good food too. While I was writing this review someone came round offering free popcorn. I'll be here again, you should come too.
Brilliant old bar and venue. Great atmosphere and the feel of a slice of history
