Can't recommend this LGBTQIA pub enough! Queer-friendly / everyone-friendly with great vibes, delicious plant-based menu, lovely decor from the recent refurbishment, really great cocktails. Try the lovely dry rose to drink in the sunshine any time of day. A real community hub for the weird wonderful queer sex-positive family you love in London. Make sure you check out the unique rainbow staircase too!

My boyfriend and I had ordered a burger through deliveroo before, but wanted to try out going to the pub ourselves. We tried two of the burgers and the breaded Mac and cheese vegan balls. Everything was so delicious and the staff was so friendly! The Mac and cheese is a smaller portion, but hearty and filling!

Wonderful pub, amazing cocktails, super friendly staff and the vegan food is glorious (and that's coming from a full-time meat eater. Their entire menu is vegan) ❤️

Such a beautiful little gem of a pub with delicious vegan food. I went here just to meet some friends, but turns out there was a drag show being performed that night which made my visit truly memorable. I'll definitely be back again very soon!

I've never seen in my life a place filled with so many smiling, dancing and inteligent people. Such a nice place and croud. And the toilet... wow, that's art, I never imagined that a toilet can have so much beauty. And they wipe it blank every day. Awesome, isn't it? Art for a day.

Had my birthday party in the room upstairs. Great room, lovely food. The staff looked after us so well, and all seem like great people. We felt very well looked after. I'd really recommend this place to anyone. I'll be going back for a pint soon, as it seems like a top pub

Neat family-friendly pub with decorative interior, and even games for kids. Women's toilets have chalk board markers for wall doodles (hehe)

Loving this place since the refurbishment. New menus are quirky (like the decor) and tasty, with non-alcoholic cocktails available and all vegan food. Don't let that put you off though, this carnivore was well satisfied. I'll definitely be back!

Exceptional food and service. We had swordfish and quinoa croquettes (two separate dishes). They serve vegan tapas and the chef should be at a top West End restaurant the food is that good. The bar staff are super-friendly too. If I could give more stars I would.

The staff are warm and friendly and the FOOD IS AMAZING! The Vegan Alternative have the BEST vegan burgers I have ever eaten and previously they were only available from deliveroo. Finally you sit and enjoy this awesome menu in a great little pub! *****

This is a brilliant LGBTQ+ friendly venue. The staff are super friendly, the decor is great and colourful. They have gender neutral toilets. You can also get a low alochol cocktail which is a plus for me. It would be nice if they had a wider range of non-alcoholic drinks.

A really nice modern queer pub. Expect some sort of meetup to be happening, either downstairs or upstairs. The food is very good, much better than you'd expect in a pub, but with prices to match the quality. Vegan first, but with non-vegan options too.

Just found a new home. Seriously, great place, great people, and as they say themselves, a hub for the community. Just had a quick couple of pints (well kept Guinness, went for safe but they had quite a decent beer range overall for a non-specialist place), but will revisit for the awesome cocktail menu. And they have Diplomatico rum....What could go wrong?

The staff is wonderful and sooo friendly . I had their chips and they are just perfect. The garlic sauce is equally perfect and frankly the atmosphere they created is really relaxed.the drinks are not overpriced and having an outside are with tables is quite nice especially with such a warm weather!

I and a group of friends visited the Apple Tree and I have to say that the experience was excellent. It's a great pub, drinks aren't overly expensive for London, the decor is quirky and the seating comfy plus the staff are warm and very friendly. As an alternative to the establishments in Central London this place is well worth a visit! We'll definitely be returning at some point.

In a sunday when we could find no other pubs open we found The Apple Tree. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the beers on offer, the beers were good too! A friend had one of their burgers (all vegan) and was very pleased with it. Would visit again if staying in the area.

What a great bunch of people. Genuine, open, characters. They messed up my food order but they fixed it and they gave me a free drink for my trouble and they made me smile while they did it. They were bubbly and welcoming, the music on the night was a trip down 80s memory lane, the small plates were good and entirely veg/vegan apart from one I think.

My favourite pub, as a musician, every Wednesday. One if the finest Open Mic Nights on the circuit. Great vibe, friendly staff and audience. We get some awesome Musicians passing through. No 2 weeks are the same. Always a core of regulars present, whether providing Tambourine, Percussion or Vocals! And the chips are awesome, just so you know! Top marks for an excellent night out in EC2.

Cool pub, friendly & helpful staff who also made my dog very welcome - I hate going out after work to places where I can't bring him too. Interesting food menu. I've been here several times & it's the one place I'm still motivated to go into town for on a weeknight.
