Laksha Bay - London - Photo album

Fairly decent Indian place in Wapping. I had the Kathmandu, which to my liking was spicy but there were milder options available. The restaurant has a slightly old fashioned decor but the food makes it worth it.
Easily the best curry I had on my recent trip to London. Amazing range of dishes, all very tasty and great staff. A special mention to the waiter who showed us his coin collection after we got chatting one night. Will definitely return when back in London..
Been wanting to try this place for a year now, so glad they reopened in the last couple of weeks! The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very cosy. The highlight clearly is the food though. I am quite critical, but they easily have the best onion bhaji I ever ate and a great selectio
Had the most wonderful meal there last night! We've lived in Wapping 2 years and I've always wanted to go in. It was sad to see them having to shut over covid but I'm glad they're back and I've been able to try. The food is amazing and the team are genuinely passionate about Wapping. If they're not
Was a bit wary of this restaurant as it was so quiet with very few people dining in. The decor was bland and outdated. Food here is always good- been numerous times with different groups of people, and all the dishes are great. Staff are friendly and helpful, and food is a very reasonable price for this area of London. Would highly recommend. Weirdly this restaurant never seems to be that busy, despite it being real
Really good experience. I need to try a different curry to see how good it is. Recommended
Absolutely delicious food at reasonable prices. Laksha Bay is a staple in Wapping. Unfortunately, you don't see many guests eating in during the week. I really hope the Wapping community continues to support this lovely restaurant. It was such a shame when they had to close during lockdown. Let's ho
Rather than ordering an Indian take-away, we decided to pop around the corner to Laksha Bay for a curry and beers. From the minute we walked in, to the time we left the service was simply outstanding, we were felt extremely welcome. The food was as good as the service. The tandoori lamb chops were d
Been coming here regularly since moving to the area a few years ago. Have never had a bad meal.. ever. Professional service with a smile, very tasty food and reasonable prices. Good place for a conversation as it is not crazy busy (great for a date with your partner). When I'm craving a curry I don'
