Cosy friendly atmosphere with a good selection of beers , great service and great food - would definitely recommend !
Lovely gem of a pub, great staff and plenty of ales and craft beers.
Pub itself is a treasure.
Well worth a look
By far the best pub experience I've had in a while, from the booking call, "I'll book you a table for a laugh", to the fantastic customer service, it has made the evening fantastic. The food was delicious and hit the spot perfectly, if I could leave a higher star rating I definitely would. I will definitely be coming back!
Great local pub and full of history and so in the right place
The benefits of fringe theatre far outweighs any large scale production; the intimacy and energy of the actors bring to me a real taste of passion and emotion. Thank you to the cast & everybody else from Theatre Lab Company behind the production of Jamaica Inn at this matinee's performance. Who's to say that it doesn't pay to be curious! Go Mary Yellan but watch out who you trust!
Amazin' place/Delicious food/Nice staff! You can definitaly feel the authentic englishness!
Most enjoyable - even though our trips to Bedford Park have been irregular we feel like it is our local pub. Keep up the good work, and thank you, especially the very pleasant, attentive and efficient bar staff!
Fab place. Good selection of beers, friendly staff, handy location, pleasant set of regulars.
I just like Saman, he's awesome.
Lovely food and drink, reasonable prices especially for Chiswick and great staff and cosy atmosphere. We arrived early evening for a quick bite and got served fast . Many thanks
An exceptional pub attuned to the conventions of the hostelry industry with fare that doesn’t stray to far from expectations.
A noteworthy beer and craft ale selection.
But it’s the understated and functional interior here retaining much of the original late 19th.Century “Arts & Crafts” fittings and finishes that underpins much of the tone and metre here.

Distinctive and Distinguished.
I’ve lived in Chiswick for 8 years now but only been in here once years ago but only pass here going to work really but i was off today and was this way so thought we pop in,very glad we did, lovely cosy old pub like the ones in Coventry where I’m from, the food was delicious, chicken wings and steak and ale pie was lovely and there was 2 lovely girls behind the bar,and they charged my phone for me and there was a lovely young waitress,it’s just a lovely old English pub with good people and atmosphere which is hard to find these days,we will visit again, and I left a tip to the staff.
The Tabard is a friendly pub right next to Turnham Green Station. There are a couple of cosy rooms indoors and an outdoor area. Great place for a pint.
Gorgeous pub! Dog friendly too which is always a plus! And what I think is a theatre outside in the garden, through a door. This pub has alot of history and looks like it hasnt stepped out of time. Would highly recommend the visit!
Nice pub. Never had the food. Always have decent real ales and they do camra discount if you show them your card.
Nice pub with chill atmosphere
Lovely 30s/40s dark wood panelling in this pub and nice atmosphere with friendly staff. I enjoy a swift half now and then...
The Tabard is a low key, locals pub, full of gregarious and exception characters. It supports the Theatre and St Michaels All Angels Church initiatives. A long stay venue for the Bedford Park Festival.
Greene King owned it’s wears are standard. Typical mainstream brands served fast and well. Staff are well trained and positive.
Its has split bars and sports a piano that is played. Patio style beer garden.
Always a very pleasant experience.
This pub has grown on my husband and I and eventually became our much-appreciated local as we happened to have moved nearby. It is certainly a special place - very historic, with period features and original (?) tiling.
Pub consists of multiple areas - two-sided bar, a small lowered cosy seating area, a dining more quiet area and the garden. There is a quaint little theater upstairs, and an arts school next door, and paddle tennis courts across the road, so the clientele is definitely very mixed, but coexists peacefully.
Staff is hard-working and always welcoming, despite serving a large volume of customers. Some remember your drinks order which is always a thoughtful touch.
I confess - I never ate there, the food looks like classic pub grub, but then again Tabard never claimed to be a gastropub. It features various entertainment activities (quiz, live music etc) and somebody runs their very wholesome instagram page.
