Really great guys! Loved the concept and the food was delicious - those scallops, mm
Fabulous lunch at Lady of the Grapes! We tried a number of their wines and were really well looked after by the charming, knowledgeable Sam. The wines by the glass were superb and we tried a number of new things including pet nat, an extraordinary orange Falanghina and deeeeelicious Austrian reds. And a fab Cab Franc! Really cute, atmospheric restaurant too with tasty food.
Lovely Bar with natural wines in the heart of London. Excellent service and great variety of wines. I can highly recommend spending your evening here!
Incredible atmosphere & feel to the place - exactly how a wine bar should be.
Food is absolutely delicious. The girolles with egg yolk & bread selection were favourites.
Enjoyed the wines we had, though it would be good to offer more by the glass.
I loved it but doesn’t come cheap.
While I’m not a massive wine connoisseur, I had a lovely time at this little bar. I must say all the food and drink really is on the pricier side, but the atmosphere is nice and I enjoyed the absolute best salad ever (prosciutto and fresh burrata). Would recommend to people with a more allowing budget.
After being recommended by my daughter, I decided to visit with my friend - What an amazing place. On a rainy Saturday night this was an oasis of wonderful wine and food. Our waiter Sam was so attentive and helped us navigate through the wine menu and his recommendations were well received. The place was very busy but despite that, Sam still made our visit unique. Heartily recommend and will definitely will go again.
I've never been disappointed here. We've been here four times on different days, times, and both indoor/outdoor. The best time was on Valentines day for their set menu! Scroll to the bottom of my review for it.
Our first time was after watching a musical nearby. We were hungry after the show, and wanted to find a nice place for a snack. We stumbled upon Lady of the Grapes and they luckily had a nice table available for us along the brick wall. Their interiors are a cozy wine bar with exposed brick. The low lighting makes the ambience intimate and a great date spot. We got several wines and a cheese plate - all amazing.
Our second time was on the patio for a light meal. We got the cheese plate again and a tasting flight of wine. I loved how they gave us a map of where the wines came from! The only downside of sitting outside during the day was that there were multiple people coming up to us asking for money (not part of the restaurant and certainly not the restaurant's fault). While sitting outside is lovely, just be aware!
Our third time was for a light drink/snack before dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a nice spot at the bar. Even though they were high top seats, they were just as comfortable as the normal seating and we got great views of their wine bottle collection and the wall of wine offerings. We got two red wines and the anchovies. I never thought anchovies, butter, and toasted bread could taste so good.

Our fourth time on Valentine's Day was the best yet! We got a table in the corner, so it was much more private than almost all the other indoor tables. The other indoor tables are very close to each other (only a few inches away). They had a 5 course set menu with options to add caviar, cheese, champagne, and a wine pairing. We went with the cheese and wine pairing, but it seemed like they gave us the champagne anyways! The pairings were all great and diverse. We did get some French wines, but also got to try Greek wine. Food wise, I was surprised how vegetable heavy it was, and was nicely surprised that they were all spectacular. As a mainly meat and fish eater, the vegetables were some of the best. I can't recommend this place more.
Can't wait to come back a 5th time ☺️
The most delicious French cuisine in London. Top shelf wines.
This is probably my favorite wine bar in London! The staff here is very knowledgeable, and they give great recommendations. The vibe is nice and chill. It can’t get busy on weekends but it’s def worth it 💯
Stopped in for glass of wine b/f seeing a show. Very tight quarters. Fantastic wine offerings with extremely knowledgeable staff. I will return and try some of the small plate offerings next time.
Amazing, stopped for a glass of wine and Sam and the team were amazing food was good and Sam’s knowledge of wine was great . We were made to feel very welcome
Really nice concept. Great selection of wines, all of them are produced by women and at least certified as organic. The menu is simple with great ingredients and well presented. The atmosphere takes you to a French restaurant.
100% recommend. Booking is suggested.
This place is awesome. Paulo and Sam are amazing servers and made us feel welcome. If you're a natural wine lover, come check this place out. The Bianchduset Moscato 2007 was particularly interesting and I recommend folks willing to dive into something interesting, funck, light, and refreshing to check this out!
I had a wonderful evening at Lady of the grape 💜, the staff is really friendly and feels like a real family. Food was delicious and really original, smoked beetroot was to die for 😍 & wine recommendations very much on point. Already one of my London favourite
One of my favourite natural wine oasis in central London. The food is always delicious, with enough vegetarians options to keep it interesting at each visit!
Had a lovely time here, fantastic wine and cheese selection. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive, will definitely be back!
A quintessential wine bar with warm ambiance, but a not-so-typical wine menu. Sasha was kind enough to try me on three different natural wines, with Putes Féministes hailing as the victor. Great service, wine, and location.
After visiting this wine bar, as a previous non wine lover, I was completely converted and am now excited to try a new type of wine. This was thanks to the very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming barman, I remember his name was Sam. He is the reason for my new found love of wine, I didn’t know what to order and the three different wines he recommended where so delicious. My only criticism is the absence of choice of vegan cheese. I ordered bread and wish I could have had vegan cheese too but the only option was cheese cheese.
