I have used Panzer's for over 20 years, now after the wonderful refurbishment, it is excellent. Products and choice brilliant, service is excellent, staff are wonderful and a great team working together to make a success, we use panzer's almost dally now, keep up the good work
It's a lovely deli and café but a little over priced.. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We had coffee and a spinach and ricotta bun (which would have been tastier had it been heated).. There's a big array of fruits and vegetables that you may not find elsewhere as well as bagels, breads and salads etc.. Also, lots of the products were from Italy or Greece.
The best delicatessen in this part of London for sure. The highest quality of produce and wide range of fruit and vegetables (they must have at least 15 different types of tomatoes here!). Great quality deli counter options and coffee with pastries served outside creating cozy community vibe.
I went here for the salmon bagel, which was delicious. I sat outside. Just beautiful salmon. Just as I was leaving, a pigeon flew into the shop, and a customer who had just gone into the shop was quite out of sorts and was loudly asking for someone to get it back outside. I cornered the pigeon with my briefcase then picked it up and released it outside. Got a round of applause. Nice lunch.. I'll be back!
Great shop with gourmet and fine food products, wide range
Amazing selection of goods, everything was fresh and tasty! And the team was super helpful.
Excellent deli. Good service. Some of the fresh foods are very expensive/over-priced: for example, I can see they have a high quality halva, which I'd love to try, but not at that 4x price. Other more 'normal' groceries are at fair prices. Sat down for salt beef sandwiches: average really, but a little pricey - better down Brick Lane. But then, this is St John's Wood.
the groceries seemed slightly overpriced, but I really like the sweets here! had to takeaway but there are tables outside to enjoy sunny whether too.
Grocery shopping with a soul. I can't get enough of their salmon bagels with cream cheese! There is everything you could wish for provided your salary is in line with the neighbourhood: Tasteful bouquets of flowers and a great display of seasonal fruits and veg outside, good deli + Japanese counters, wonderful bread, cheese, pasta, and fresh coffee and cakes. Note it is harder to move around at peak times. Unexpected, but great tunes to shop to (who does the playlist?) and a team of efficient and friendly cashiers to finish on a high note!
I have to say, this lovely man brightened up my day! Amazing coffee and spreading such love and positivity. Well done panzers for employing such a gentleman!
The best place in london to buy food, bar none. The quality and range of the fruit and vegetables is beyond compare. Natoora is miserable by comparison. For example there are generally at least eight different varieties of tomatoes including San Marzano, Datterino, and the magnificent merinda tomatoes from Sicily. They also have isle of wight cherry and other tomatoes. The sushi counter can just about produce anything you want, not just the ubiquetous salmon and tuna! The unaju (eel on a bed of rice) is the very best comfort food as we head in to the colder weather. The staff are incredibly helpful and will set aside a Kosher chicken for you if you call in advance: worth doing as they fly off the shelf (groan?). The freshly cut smoked salmon is sensational, the range of bagels and other breads is huge, and the cheese counter is just overwhelming. But if you have to ask the price, better not go…..
