Absolutely exquisite. The atmosphere and ambience perfect for any occasion. Food was amazing and Iā€™ll be back to try more soon. Divine wine, unique and special. Best Campari and soda ever. Worth visiting this spot from wherever you are in London. You will not be disappointed.

Literally loved everything, I eat out a lot, around the world, this was up there with the best of them. Atmosphere was also really great, relaxed and welcoming.

So delicious!!! Few wines available by the glass. Mostly bottles. But very good ones. I ordered two desserts because it was all so good.

Amazing wine bar which serves excellent small plates. Open until 2am at the end of the week and is becoming the venue of choice for the restaurant trade. Very good value for money and great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, wine and service plus an effusive host. I'm probably lucky that this isn't on my doorstep otherwise I'd be in there every few days trying something new.

First of all, apologies for the drop in usual photographic standards on this post. This meal at Laughing Heart was completely impromptu, the result of there being nothing on TV on a Sunday night during a trip to see a friend in Shoreditch, and I didn't have my Big Camera. So if the food looks a bit less appealing than it would do normally I can only apologise (to them and you), but on the other hand my mate didn't have to put up with my taking ten or fifteen shots of every dish with my noisy compact, so you know, he was happy.

My my my what an incredible little place. On arrival, the very unassuming front fit in with the local area and doesnā€™t stand out but a hidden gem is truly hidden inside. The MaĆ®tre Dā€™ was fabulous when we arrived and sat us down even though we were early for our booking. Our waitress was an absolute charmer and extremely knowledgeable. We chose our dishes and also opted for the wine pairing which was divine. Each wine was carefully selected and matched the dish perfectly. We asked several questions while we were sat down and got great answers both times.

Absolutely fantastic food and incredibly fun (and delicious) wine pairing to accompany. To us, the menu seemed quite opaque (or perhaps understated) when you read it. Which is to say that it doesn't read like something that's going to be as delicious as it actually is. Strongly recommend! Note that it's pricey, but if you're reading this you're probably already aware of that.

Simple food with a slight twist executed to perfection. Every dish we ordered here was amazing, probably one of the nest wine bars for food in London that I have been to. The mussels in sake broth were a particular standout.

This place is super under rated, but the reality is that itā€™s amazing... the food is very special and more than anything, weā€™ll put together and an immaculate execution. Unusual combinations that do honestly combine and will make me for sure come back... The price is not expensive at all and is definitely a place to go, try and come back.

Great cover, super friendly staff and food is delicious. Very fish and seafood heavy menu, which I don't eat. But even though I loved the place. Definitely try the burrata (if they have it) and the papperdelle.

Wow. Beautiful design. Glorious food. Wonderful staff. Value for money considering the chef serves Michelin Star quality dishes. Love that I live near here so I can make it my new local.

Lovely space, delightful wine list and impeccably prepared food. I'd say the only thing that stops it being a 5 star is that I left slightly hungry after the Ā£45 tasting.

Thank you for an absolutely fantastic meal last night, with incredibly inventive dishes, plus friendly and engaging service. We took the tasting menu which was better value than I've seen anywhere else in London with as good, if not better, quality. Adding on the wine pairing brought an extra dimension and it was great to hear the stories about each of the wines - all delicious! Thanks and we hope to be back soon

Easily one of the best restaurants in London. The constantly changing menu never fails to suprise and delight, and in four visits I have enjoyed every millisecond. Food is of the very highest calibre, and the owner and staff take genuine interest in their customers, so the service is beyond top notch. Little quirks also add to the magic - won't explain all in a review, but do ask yourself why cutlery is not laid out in front of you...

I went to a popup by Retan so not a Laughing Heart review, but pleased you choose to support the industry letting popups use your premises. Nice atmosphere and will return to try Laughing Heart now I've found you.

Visited last night for our anniversary and had a really lovely evening! Food here was immaculately presented and we really appreciated how they adapted some dishes to cater for my boyfriend, who is vegan. The service was attentive but not disruptive, you felt you were looked after. We opted for the wine pairing too, which I'd recommend as a way to make it a little bit more special. We both felt this is the kind of place that just knows how to do things right. Everything ran like a well-oiled machine. The pace of the dishes coming out was really nice, we didn't feel rushed at all. Considering we sat at 6:30 and left around 8:45/9 it was a lovely leisurely meal. The bill was very reasonable, we felt, considering the quality and the experience!! Would highly recommend. What a local gem!

Lovely evening drinking great wine and eating delicious food - always nice to see the chefs buzzing about in an open kitchen too. The Cave downstairs has an incredible soundsystem and a great dancefloor too šŸ’ƒšŸ¼
