The service was very good because the waiters were friendly and helpful. The food was very flavourful and I really enjoyed the pork curry and the aesthetic was very welcoming and I felt very happy to be there because I could feel the warmth of everybody's happiness. The tobiko nigiri was very nice and the tobiko really popped in my mouth like a balloon full of flavour! 10/10 would recommend :)
I took the biggest Sushi fan here and she was delighted.
I was surprised to read the reviews below until I realised they were 3 years old. This cute little Japanese restaurant has been recently refurbished and, with a nod to the tradition of sitting on the floor to eat, they have introduced a low seating area where you can sit cross legged or drop your legs in to the dip under the table.
The staff have been lovely and helpful each time I have been and the atmosphere is ok, it's not fancy and has a brightly lit restaurant so probably not the most romantic place.
The food here is delicious, the Gyoza was great, Sushi sets were scrumptious and the Salmon Teriyaki Bento meal is a must every time for me with a great flavour and really good value for money.
I would recommend it for a cheap and cheerful Japanese experience.
A regular favourite. We get food delivered from here about once every two weeks and maybe eat in once a month when we want something hot (tempura doesn't travel well). It's always great, sometimes even better. I think it depends on the quality of the fish they get. The tobiko salad and mackerel are excellent, as is their prawn tempura sushi roll which is divine.
The staff are lovely, the food is lovely... Californian friend said it was among the best Sushi he'd had!
This place is great. It’s always a treat whenever I visit. I usually go for the Bento boxes, and the sushi is delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are always very welcoming.
A favourite on the triangle! Delicious sushi at reasonable prices. You can have a cheap eat or a more elaborate dinner - lots of options! Nice, welcoming team and I like the traditional seating arrangement at the back!
Went for my brother’s birthday and would certainly not be able to find fault with the presentation of the food (do people just complain about anything these days?), PARTICULARLY when the food was so sumptuous, delicious and well portioned; we were wowed by some of the flavours put before us. Plus the service was outstanding, and it’s a family-run business. Will be back (and my brother has had since - still great but nothing beats dining in).
We went for my sons birthday. Which he chose. There were so many options on the menu that I wanted to try but I chose the seafood deluxe which was absolutely delectable, my mother bought a duck in plum sauce bento box, my daughter noodles and my son a soup dish.
We were all smiling from ear to ear. The service was excellent, so polite and helpful. Our server had a great sense of humour and made us feel so comfortable. We loved it so much that it was unanimous decision to add Edo to our favourite places to eat. Have been singing there praises to ANYONE who will listen.

Woo hoo! My favourite Japanese place in South London has re-opened! The food is as good as ever and the staff are as lovely as ever. This is a must visit restaurant in Crystal Palace. 🍱

Ramen was excellent! The broth is the best I’ve tasted in London so far. Great service. The grilled chicken was a little fatty but flavour was present and accounted for. Recommend.
I always order food to take away from Edo and sometimes I just go there to eat. Excellent customer service and amazing food. Quality is good and not so expensive as usually the Japanese restaurants are. Highly recommended.
The food is authentic Japanese, extremely high quality with generous portion sizes. I have visited Japan frequently and I'm always on the look out for great authetic Japanese food and this place is perfect. I was also really impressed with the friendliness of the staff and owner. Highly recommended.
