Drew is a well-placed cafe on the main strip in Wimbledon village. It is surprisingly large inside than it appears from the outside. It stretches far down the back of the restaurant all the way to the kitchen. It is very clearly a family intended and designed restaurants welcoming families including young children on weekends and during the week while parents it with coffee is, breakfast or lunch with children sip baby chinos.

We came here for breakfast over the weekend fairly early in the morning around 9:30 AM. It was already quite busy, which I took is a good sign. I would recommend it if you are coming here for breakfast on the weekend then you need to get here early especially if you are in larger groups. The menu is quite fast and there are many options available for people including the expected cooked egg breakfast options as well as some other options on the menu including a weekly special.

We opted for the wild mushrooms on sourdough toast and their brew melt.

The wild mushrooms on sourdough toast is excellent. The wild mushrooms I’ve cooked to the point where they are tender but still have a little bit of bait; there is a mixture of mushrooms here see you get various textures which is great. The cooked mushrooms are then roles in a cream and H balsamic mixture then with a topping of fresh pesto to brighten up the dish. This is the kind of simple dish that frankly if you get something wrong or something doesn’t work it with standout violently and the dish would be ruined. However, this dish is conceived and executed well. It is probably one of the best mushroom on toast dishes I’ve had out for breakfast in a cafe.

The brew melt is a substantial and rich dish partly because of the melted cheese. This is reminiscent in flavour profile to a croc monsieur or similar rich toasted melted cheese dish. I found it a little too rich and more than what I wanted but my wife very much enjoyed it.

The coffee is and she uses that they make are fresh and delicious.

The service is very friendly and warm as you’d expect that a family weekend cafe.

I would easily come back here again when I am in the Wimbledon area.

We were on the lookout for fresh, fun food with an atmosphere to match. Brew’s at number 45, a tiny place spewing out seats through the front door onto a little terrace. They’ve crammed in seating for about 25 people on the front – clearly against fire regs – and inside is similarly as ...

Good spot for a weekend breakfast/ brunch. Well laid-out interior with a family-friendly atmosphere. It's not the best food/ coffee I've had in London but it's of a consistently good quality. And they're very generous with their cake slice servings. The only negative is the price; £6.90 is pretty steep for poached eggs on toast!

We tried the blueberry pancakes and folded eggs. Both were very good. Coffee was decent too. We have decided to be regulars on Sat mornings here!

This place is my usual breakfast/brunch spot on weekends. I prefer this one to the one on Northcote Road even though that one is closer to me as this one is located in Wimbledon Village - possibly the most beautiful part of the city. On weekends, the Village is filled with residents on a stroll and enjoying the weather. Not too many tourists around, which does make it seem like it's quite untouched. Beautiful shops, lovely restaurants, quaint cafes, this one being one of them. They have roofed outdoor seating with blankets and heating too, in case it's chilly. Another reason why I prefer this branch is because it's a lot bigger than that one and decorated quite nicely.
I was a bit disappointed with the Eggs Benedict here. The bread wasn't soft. I admit I expected it with an English Muffin but it came with sourdough toast. The ham lacked flavour and was cold. The eggs were perfectly runny though.
Their hot chocolate is very good too. I like how it's served in a little bowl/mug.
My friend and I have tried every juice on the menu. Some are good and some aren't, it's a hit and miss!
Their blueberry pancakes with caramelised banana, creme fraiche and maple syrup is TO DIE FOR! One of the best I've had in the city. I won't hesitate to admit that this is my usual order. Yes, I do like to finish breakfast/brunch with dessert! :)
The Turkish pide melt with ham, gruyere, vine tomato, poached eggs and pesto is also very, very good but a bit small in terms of quantity. I did wonder where the rest of it was when we were served.
My other usual order and other favourite is definitely the chorizo scrambled eggs on sourdough toast. The eggs are scrambled to perfection and the chorizo is just incredible! I wonder where they get it from.
It's the perfect place for you to go to on a lazy Sunday after strolling around Wimb Village!

Fantastic venue with a very varied menu. Great drinks list both hot and cold. The prices here are steep with breakfast for 2 costing over £40. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, as where all the staff we spoke to. Very nice heated and covered patio area. Worth a visit if you have the money.

Great brunch. Serves entire menu, so I had a pizza and the lady had avocado toast. Very friendly staff. Not nearly as full as it should have been. Will return.

Lovely place to eat after a walk in Wimbledon Park. Coffee tastes great. They do lovely thick fresh pancakes, poached eggs and salmon and sourdough toast. They have a wood fire oven at the back. Would recommend the Turkish eggs for breakfast here. Expect a queue as this place is small inside and in high demand. Food comes relatively quickly and mornings are quite busy periods. Parking is a little tricky so go by bus if you want to take your time. Staff are very friendly and polite. Free Wifi is available. Password is on the blackboard inside for guests sitting in.

One of the best spots to eat in Wimbledon village. Coffee is on point and they keep it simple to deliver fantastic tasting food. Loses a star for price!

My first impression of the place was characterised by its exuberance. The ambiance is lively and cosy. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and we were sat within 5 minutes, despite the high customer flow. Food and beverage were great. I would recommend the goat's cheese ravioli and sweetcorn fitters; the portions are a good size. Service very efficient and staff quite friendly. It is amazing that they have a variety of milk alternatives, in particular my favourite brand, the 'oatly barista' oat milk. Definitely the best coffee in the village. Only negative is that they don't have many vegan options but overall recommend you visit.

Love the Turkish eggs and banana bread here! Very chilled restaurant with good service and friendly faces all round. Sometimes there may be a wait for a table, but they turn these around fast so it’s not too bad! Lunches are also well priced and tasty, but I think their brunches are the winner! Good pancakes, sweet corn fritters, chorizo on toast are just a few of my favourites!

Perfect for a Saturday brunch. The Eggs Florentine were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly done though sadly no English muffin (boo!) and the coffee was great. The restaurant is baby friendly which is a tremendous boon but it also means that it's often rammed on the weekends. When I've been on the weekends the service was surprisingly good. The staff were very friendly and the order turnaround was surprisingly quick. The only negative I've really encountered is that it is very tightly packed - one of the hazards of doing business in the Village and trying to cram as many covers as possible during the busy hours to offset the less busy hours.

One of my favourite brunch places. I've been here thrice and everytime the food has been amazing. Since it's a small place, the wait for a table might be long and the service is sometimes slow. But when the food cones, it's difficult to stay annoyed at that. The field mushrooms in pesto is an absolute must!!

Nice and informal cafe on the Village. The coffee is strong and has a distinctive flavour. Definitely try a slice of the chocolate cake, not too sweet and very moorish. Staff are friendly and helpful, served really quickly and are also baby and toddler friendly.

Been here for brunch with a young baby and had a stellar experience. The staff are so friendly and the service is quick and just the right level of attentiveness. The food is generously portioned and fairly priced. Will definitely return.

It's tiny but if you can get a table it's really worth it for the food. Very healthy options made delicious. Great juices and smoothies too. I've been there for breakfast (sourdough toast with avocado and cottage cheese) and lunch (corn fritters with a tomato relish) which were both excellent.
