Walk in, you pick a table and then you order. Food was very delicious, perfect for breakfast, I ordered salmon sandwich and carrot cake. They have a terrace with a view on the lake. Only negative thing are the toilets. Very dirty and half of them not functional.

While waiting for the horse guard parade at the Whitehall square, we decided to visit St James's Park, which has the entrance directly opposite Whitehall building. As we walked further in, we were surprise to find such a nice cafe in the park! I love the interior, it gives you a very cosy feeling. It is spacious with good lighting. You can get many varieties of pastries, cakes, muffins, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The prices are reasonable too! This cafe is within walking distance, may be about 300m away from Whitehall.

After a stroll through the park I decided to stop here for brunch. The ordering system was somewhat confusing - if you’re paying cash you cannot order from their online menu, so you must stand in line and pay at the counter. If you are with other people you can have them claim a table and then order to that table, but if you’re on your own you’re basically forced to order as a takeaway. The restaurant is obviously very busy due to its location, but I *was* able to find a table, before eventually deciding to enjoy the weather and sit elsewhere in the park. The burger was wonderfully done, and delicious. The fries were wide cut and crispy on the outside, yet soft inside. My only complaint is that they were very, very salt, but it wasn’t bad when eaten with the burger. Overall, not a bad place to stop for a meal, if a bit overpriced.

Got recommended this place, it was reasonably quiet considering the amount of people about, it's not the cheapest place but it is in central London so it's expected. The staff was nice and seating was available but I am sure it would get rammed. Food quality was reasonable I thought. Great views and a nice way to relax here.

Overall, it was okay. Food was yummy - we particularly liked the Salmon Wrap. Price is a bit more than average, but I think it’s because it is the only cafe in the park.

Calm atmosphere and great food! It's a nice place to meet and chat or to be by yourself and enjoy a quite meal or coffee. The place makes ordering food very easy... just find a table you like and if it isn't occupied you can sit there... you can then either scan the code on the table or let them know your table number when ordering at the register. The wait staff is very professional and courteous. They will politely bring your food or drink over and walk away. They let you be to do your own things. There are a lot of pigeons here though and they will try to get at any left over food on the table.

We had a nice little lunch there a couple of Sundays ago. The portions were generous and it was very surprisingly tasty! The staff were young and accomodating with baby. The café looked under staff ( as everywhere else). Some costumers had no respect and left the tables in a real mess! These guys worked so hard to keep it clean. It was worth it!

Beautifully situated in St. James Park. Crowded but nice, sittings outside as well. The staff is friendly and quick. We had a nice fish and chips and the chickpea salad was quite tasty. Very enjoyable terrace with the exceptionally mild autumn weather.

Love the idea of this spot. A wonderful place to stop for a cuppa tea and snack before one heads on to continue sight seeing or usual business endeavors. BUT the service is sloooowwww. The cakes and goodies are out in the open for every person in the line up to finger, breathe over or stand over - ick. Staff need service training, need an extra espresso machine as one is not enough for the poor person who is making hot drinks and general area needs redesigning

Lovely Café and Restaurant in the heart of one of the most beautiful parks in the City of London. It can conveniently serve as a snack/lunch stop on your London walk as it's only a couple of minutes from the Trafalgar Square and the Buckingham Palace. The premises are nicely designed with a pretty view and a summer terrace. I would like to point out the welcoming service we received throughout the visit. All staff members were friendly and professional. The chicken breast in the Chicken curry burger was a bit dry but still tasty. Hotdogs were delicious as well as the Ceasar Salad and the children's fish fingers. Fries were nicely crispy. The premises were clean, including the open kitchen and surprisingly also the toilets which are clearly used by passerbyers as 'public toilets'. Thank you

Very cozy cafe in nice St. James's park, in the heart of London. Very appreciated possibility with remote order inside. Ordered a simply burger with fries, was served quickly (within 5 min) and it was pretty tasty. Been there 3 times for lunch during my trip to London, every time appreciated.

Very basic menu - breakfast, lunch, a couple side dishes. Order at the front or your table though a QR code. The only problem with the QR code is that there was no cakes/pastries on the menus which were clearly available at the front.

What a great place to enjoy evening opposite the lake. Birds chirping and fresh breeze. Simply amazing.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous - in St James’s Park opposite the lake - and the decor is stylish: chic lighting, nice wooden ceilings and bird-themed wallpaper. The range of food is ok although fairly expensive (as you’d expect from this prime location). Staff are friendly and helpful. Customers seem to be a mix of local workers having meetings away from their office and tourists and Londoners enjoying the park.

The cafe itself is well located in the centre of the park. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are average and the food and drinks are okay from a family/student perspective - don’t expect too much. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will assist you with all needs u might have.

Lovely café in the middle of Saint James’ Park! It opens early (8am and serves cooked breakfast at 8:30) I worked all morning there, unfortunately they don’t have a wifi so I had to use my own data… Also as I am a traveller I was not aware that you had to order at the counter and they let me wait quite long. When I entered I told them I wanted to get breakfast and they told me after 8:30 but then nobody came to take my order or to tell me that I had to go to the counter… I had to ask twice. Food was good but expensive in my opinion (around 15£ for an avocado toast and a coffee..)

Great place to have a nice lunch. The prewrapped sandwiches and wraps were really good and the pastries were delicious. Such a nice and relaxing area for some tea and cake! Would come here again.
