Feel like the luckiest person to have this cafe right outside my doorstep, serving my favourite Red Brick beans, and delicious pastries. Everyone working there are absolutely lovely.

Go here if you want to eat thick slabs of cake and drink strong coffee. The atmosphere would come under the category of "classy hipster". There isn't much seating room but if you do manage to get a seat the atmosphere is great - always an interesting crowd of people to eavesdrop on and rub shoulders with. Be warned though: the prices are pretty high.

Browns of Brockley is a beautiful spot for a quiet coffee in Brockley. Just a stone throw away from the over-ground station, it's the perfect place for a quiet afternoon of work. The place has a minimalistic design, with high wooden tables and stools, as well as a range of lower stools to sit on in front of the window. They serve Square Mile coffee at a modest price, and have delicious looking sandwiches for lunch. I had a really good cappuccino, and awesome Banana Bread. The tables are rather small so I wouldn't recommend going there to work and spread out, but they do have Wifi if you are looking to plug in. The staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

A lovely coffee shop in Brockley. I usually get an oat milk iced latte. They have a cute saying of "making it frothy". The staff are always nice and very friendly.

I love this place so much. The coffee is great, the owners and team are really lovely, it’s such a great atmosphere and special mention for the bread they sell there- 10/10.

I love Browns. One of my favourite cafés in London. The coffee is great, the service is always exceptional and the food is fantastic. I would highly recommend the salted caramel cannelé, the curried chickpea sandwich and the vegetarian tart (kind of a quiche with, at least, spring onions, edamame, and stilton).

Delicious coffee and really cool coffee cups... if that’s your thing. The decor is so calm and welcoming, only thing I’d say is that its pretty small. More seating would be awesome!

Good coffee place next to Brockley station. Not very big, they maximize the little space available with views to the station and a nice, trendy, decoration. The catch is definitely the price, as you can find the same quality cheaper in the centre, but not probably in the area. Ideal for take away and a quick bite

The best coffee in the postcode, and by a mile. Lovely little baked bites always available and smoked salmon or corned beef bagels on the weekends. Note: they don’t take cash.

I’m not a local and found browns via the London Coffee App. Fantastic place! Bright and airy with some lovely window seating where you can watch the world go by. The coffee is tasty and smooth with a good mix of roasts. They only go up to 8oz which is my only small gripe but the taste and quality more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and helpful and done with a genuine smile (not always the case around our city sadly) There’s a good selection of cakes, the bircher looked very good and I opted for a pastrami toasted sarnie which was quite simply divine! If you’re in the area - stop by. You won’t be disappointed 😊

If there's a better coffee shop in London than BoB then we need to check their coffee for crack because Brown's is the absolute best. Thanks.

Great place, coffee is really good too. Flat white with oat milk was exactly how a flat white should be! Selection of cakes & sandwiches are good too. It’s a great bright light spot. I love the marketing of the coffee cups & artwork outside - little details that make it unique & memorable. And done so well. Highly recommended. Overall experience was great

I've been going to Brown's for over 10 years. It stops there when it comes to coffee staff and atmosphere. If you live in Brockley then you go to Brown's. It's a must for a friendly experience. I love it ! 😀

Amazing coffee, (usually square mile's red brick) - made with friendly service as standard! Freshly made cookies are almost better in often worth the detour it usually takes to get there!! Parking difficult around there but it's just opposite brockley station.

This place has reached iconic status for me. They serve the best coffee you'll find in South London (and its consistently very good), and like many others have said, the pastries (which they've recently started making themselves) are to die for! The staff are mainly very friendly and it is clear that feedback is valued by the owners. Their bagels are really interesting. My wife and I don't agree on how good they are. The fillings are great, but the bagels themselves have an overbaked crispy base (which I actually really like) and can be a little bitter. 'Purists' might find fault with this. Personally, I think there's still a little bit of work to be done to perfect their home made bagels but I know they'll get there! Well done to the team!
