The Hamlet is is truly one of South London's hidden gem's, if your looking for something a bit different from the run of the mill bars scattered about London this has a unique feel to the place. I've had some great night's downstairs in the vinyl room, lovely friendly vibe great music, all the staff are fab especially Elsa the owner she has done a great job making this place and the clientele feel very special.
If it's a romantic meal, a cheeky cocktail, or just a place to meet friends and soak up the atmosphere and dance the night away The Hamlet has it all.
Highly recommend this place..Amazing cocktail bar/restaurant to dine, have a drink and also to host a party!! I have been here a few times and hosted a party last week. We were all very satisfied with the quality of the drinks and food and overall an excellent service from all staff. The vinyl bar downstairs is very unique and the manager allowed us to decorate to our own theme. She was very helpful in organising my party according to my budget! and ensured everyone had a good time!
Will be back next year!!

Excellent customer service with a personal touch. The whole Hamlet team from the owner to the bar staff are very professional people. I highly recommend this venue for an evening out.
Fantastic food, amazing staff... sooo friendly and a manager that engages with her customers... beautiful decor... I can't entice you enough to come down and check this place out... Love it
Popped in for lunch yesterday and ended up having a full English breakfast. Compliments go to the chef; the bacon was one of the best I have ever tasted! Only downside, was that it did not come with the sour dough bread as advertised, but just normal 'toast'. Ended up having a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc afterwards and my friend a cocktail. Both of us were satisfied.... will visit here again

My husband had his 50th at The Hamlet, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The sit down meal was fantastic the service from staff was exceptional. Our afterparty was accommodated with bar staff who where very friend.
If you want a private intimate venue with good food and wonderful staff The Hamlet is the one. ���
Went for dinner yesterday and loved it, the decor is amazing, staff very friendly and food is to die for! The best cheesecake in town!!! Great job guys :-)

I decided to have my big birthday here and it was great. Elsa was very accommodating and helpful and she was able to provide the decorations as well. If you are looking for a venue with not alot of guests this is the spot. Everyone had a great time and all of the staff were super helpful. Would definitely book this venue again.

Atmosphere had been fantastic, they greeting us as soon as walked in.

Claudio gave to us an overall experience. Polite guy, friendly also Great Bartender, he made a superb Bloody Mary. The Chef cooked a nice steak!
The Hamlet it's fabulous a nice environment, I personally love the lay out, and all the decorations, super comfy seats, nice area dining, and Good location too very easy to reach,like fews mins walk from Streatham Hill Station.
Don't miss it. It deserves more than one visit, as their food menu it's fabulous, lots of options, especially during the week.
My next would be Sunday Roast!

I came here as part of the Streatham Food Festival. The food, service & atmosphere were all amazing. Will definitely come back for a full meal.
Service was impeccable. The waiter just had a sixth sense and would come over to ask if I needed anything before I could call him over. The food was amazing. A bit pricey but it was worth it as it was delicious and a great portion size. The bar staff were very helpful in explaining cocktails and making mocktails to match. They had live music (guy with guitar) who was a wonderful singer and played an array of music from pop to bossanova and romantic French songs. Decor is beautiful and peaceful. Really impressed with this restaurant.
Fantastic coctail bar I got to enjoy three different coctails. Sara was a wonderful host. She was friendly and made me want to come back. I was a dope and left my mobile phone - she ran after me to make sure I got it back! Wonderful service. Would highly recommend

Amazing venue! Perfect size for the 70 people I invited. Staff were very accommodating and the decoration they provided at extra cost was perfect. Party is in a low ceiling basement so made it feel more intimate. There was an entrance for the guest on one side of the venue and another entrance on the other side leading to the toilets which was convenient. They provided a coat stand for guests at the back of the room and moved furniture out the room to create more space. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside, upstairs for the smokers. Prices for drinks were a little pricey considering it's Streatham and would have love for the party to of gone on for longer than 2am but overall the party was amazing, I cannot complain. I had an all white party and I was the only one wearing red so you can set your own theme. They kept my cake in a fridge for me until it was ready to be brought out. I hired my own DJ and DJ equipment although they can provide that for you. Oh and after having one too many drinks, I accidentally left all my cards and gifts but they held onto them for me until I was ready to pick them up. Well worth every penny and not overpriced at all. Good location and easy to find. Everyone had a fab time. Would recommend 👌🏽
