I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. Gin is a Very Good Thing. So being invited along to a Gin Masterclass with Sipsmith at the fabulous Minster Court bar? SO IN, SO GIN.

After a blast of fresh air from the roof garden (see previous review), I built up a healthy appetite for lunch. Located in the Minster buildings, near Fenchurch Street Station, I stumbled upon this venue quite by accident and was so pleased that I did. I am always highly impressed by staff that go that extra mile for me and this is one such case. I arrived before official opening but the staff kindly accommodated me with coffee until I was able to order lunch. I went for the healthy option: avocado 🥑 and peppers 🌶, bursting with flavour and generously filled on wholemeal bread. It was the perfect lunch, not too heavy but enough to sustain a busy afternoon's work in the City. Many of the tables were reserved in advance and I can understand why. The restaurant and bar were well appointed and the atmosphere equally inviting. There was an extensive range of beverages on offer, something to suit ever taste. The toilets were spotless and the service, provided by international staff, faultless. A special mention must go to Widad, who made my whole experience at the venue exceptional and has secured its place on my shortlist of ideal venues for a business lunch.
Wonderful, friendly staff working in a lovely central London location. The set three course lunch at a cricket event was excellent, and considering the event plus lunch were in an all inclusive package, then very good value for money. Hugely enjoyable day all round!.
A wonderful place to go for dinner. I went to a charity dinner with Chris Cowdrey as the MC and Rory Bremner as the comedian. The venu is fantastic, quaint underground room with its own bar. Food was lovely and service was outstanding
To noisey, 140 blokes eating, drinking, enjoying themselves. Needs acoustic material on ceiling, and walls.
I love balls.. I will definitely be eating balls in the future. the rooms downstairs worked amazing for eating balls. and the atmosphere was perfect.. it was a stunning place to eat at. balls will definitely be my go to place. when I feel like eating some food.. 10/10 Balls is the best!!!
Lovely place. Food was good as was service, plenty of space especially considering there was 57 of us ( belated Christmas work party) Plenty of room in the bar area for after drinks and friendly, efficient staff. Will definitely revisit.

LOVED the butternut squash ravioli and chicken schnitzel here, nice ambience, you can just sit at a comfy booth and they’ll come to you!

Went here for lunch with my wife and daughter (5) and had a lovely time. The food was incredible, the staff was great, and it was a bit amusing to be the only ones not in business attire.
I attended a business event here and found it to be very good. The food provided was great! Unusually for a place like this, the sandwiches etc we're quite sensible flavours. The rooms downstairs worked well and the atmosphere was very good.
Nice venue in the City serving both good food and drink. Lovely atmosphere in the lead up to Christmas - attended a Christmas party here and the team were very on point. Only negative was there didn’t seem to be many/any toilet checks on the toilets nearby the area we were located in.
Food was absolutely gorgeous, would defiantly recommend to anyone. Staff are lovely too cannot do enough for you.

We stopped by for dinner after work and were surprised by how quiet it was in there. It's rare to find a city bar not full to the gills and the calm atmosphere was a refreshing change!
The food we had here was really delicious and I've already booked a table to go back again. I particular enjoyed my steak and chips as both were cooked beautifully. Chips can be so hit and miss but they were really good!
The staff are really nice here and really work hard! For somewhere in the city it's pretty good!
