It’s just okay and if there were more choice of Vietnamese cuisine around here, then this place wouldn’t be among favorites. It is not bad at all. There are much better pho out there, but when you are craving pho and there is nothing around then this place comes to rescue!
Quick, simple to order and very tasty! Good value for money.
Great place especially when you stay at the Hilton across the street who only serve overpriced Jamie's Italian room service. Super friendly service and a great bowl of Pho
Visited Velo for a quick lunch while sightseeing around London. We had the chicken curry and pork belly pho. Both dishes were extremely tasty, authentic and swiftly served. Price wise felt it was very good value, coming in at under £20 for the both of us. My only advice would be to better display th
Tasty food, big portions. Fresh orange juice is very good too. We tried spring rolls, summer rolls, velo combo with rice, also caramelized pork with rice. Everything was delicious. Next time I’m in London, I’m coming back. Definitely would recommend to try their Velo Meal deal - rolls + main dish +
Great place for a quick and delicious bit to eat. We live just down the road and Velo is our go-to place when we can't be bothered to cook but don't want to spend a fortune on dining out. The food is very fresh and reasonably priced. Our favourites are the spring rolls, lemon grass pork vermicell
Velo has just become an absolute favourite for take-out. We ordered through UberEats because it was one of the more healthy (yet, still satisfying as a mid-week treat) options. Great value for money as the servings were generous but, above all, the ingredients were lovely and fresh. Great option if
This is a great place for eating in or taking away. Easy ordering system using touch screen menus is a brilliant idea, kind of like a supermarket self service and you can see your order status on the live screens in the kitchen area so you know when your order is ready, you either pick up from the f
Delicious vermicelli and pho, I used to love popping by here on my lunch break when I worked in the area, now I swing by after a hard yoga class. The food is really good and it comes quickly, too! The staff are very friendly as well. Heads up! They offer free wifi for customers and under the long t
Good for lunch take-away, but in afternoons food is cold / warm, not as fresh as in lunch time. Also if you want to reduce the plastic wastes and choose eat-in, you need to pay quite a lot more (the £6.95 beef stew rice becomes £8.95, for example).
You order and pay for your food via touch screen, take a seat and it comes to you. Food came within 15 minutes so not bad if your on a break from work. Not much seating inside but I'd imagine most people would bring it back to their work place. The food is very tasty. However, even for London prices
I had a take away meal from Velo, I'm glad they have vegan options. I must say I ate most of my meal, as I don't like to waste food, however it wasn't as warm as it should have been, and the sauce was way too sweet with the tofu.
I come from Melbourne, a city with mind-blowingly good Vietnamese food. I struggled to find Vietnamese food in London that measured up to that standard, until I found Velo. Super colourful, healthy food. Pho is amazing, the prawn spring rolls are my favourite and the homemade ice tea and viet ice co
Excellent, healthy, Vietnamese fast food at a reasonable price. Not as cheap as some but more than makes up for it on quality. They normally have discount vouchers available too.
