Had a great time in the Sekforde for some after work drinks. Bit of a hidden gem in the back streets of Clerkenwell but a beautiful Georgian pub inside and out. Great selection of Food and drinks can't wait to return.

Our chosen favourite after a day's work. Have non alcoholic beer options which is great for those not wishing to drink. Service and atmosphere are always on point

independent and lovely pub. service is always great as is the atmosphere. if you are looking for a quiet and down to earth pub to have a pint, this is it! prices are reasonable and their outside seating area is charming. busy after work on weekdays so be mindful but it’s so lovely and quiet on the weekend.

Booked the upstairs Ballroom for my birthday and the team were excellent via communication prior to arrival and arranged the space as I requested / helped us to clean up before closing - would highly recommend

We were not allowed to cut a birthday cake at a nearby restaurant, but this nice little pub let us crash there and even gave us a knife and plates for the cake. Non alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced too and the atmosphere was cozy.

Never really go to Clerkenwell in London so was pleasantly surprised. Went to the pub for a private party. It was a hot evening and the bar staff and food were great. It is a nice little pub with a really interesting history so would recommend.

Had a really lovely time at this pub. We booked a table for a large party and we were catered for very well. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious and it was a lovely Christmas atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Definitely go on a Sunday for the roast.

Excellent decor and ambience. Decent roast dinner although you can get a roast dinner of almost similar quality nearby a lot cheaper. Service was excellent, staff are well trained and friendly.

Gorgeous, renovated pub. Good selection of beers although many were out. Staff was efficient considering they were probably understaffed, though they stopped serving a bit early. Friendly bunch inside. Pristine toilets. Definitely coming back.

I had a wonderful time at with my friends at the The Sekforde last night and met some new ones too. The owner of this pub is lovely, friendly and welcoming, as are his staff. Service was attentive and friendly. The pub building dates back to the early 1800s and had been beautifully maintained. Good selection of beers on tap including Delerium Tremens which is quite rare for london. Will be returning to try the food!

The Sekforde is a delightful pub that offers a unique blend of traditional charm and contemporary style. The pub is housed in a beautiful Georgian building and boasts a warm and inviting interior with wooden floors and panelled walls as you walk in, and nice exposed brick walls and wooden beam ceiling downstairs. The bar features an impressive selection of craft beers, ales, and ciders, as well as a range of great wines and spirits. The Sekforde also has a lovely outdoor seating area that is perfect for soaking up the sun while enjoying a drink or two on the quiet street on a nice day. Or on colder nights there's nice big open fire to warm you up. The pub's location in Clerkenwell adds to its appeal, with it being only a short walk from many other great places and things to do/see in London, this is a nice place to stop in for a pint or to finish the day in. Whether you're looking for a cosy spot to catch up with friends or a lively venue for a night out, The Sekforde is definitely worth a visit.
