The staff are all so friendly and were so accommodating to my group, and the highlight was the Saturday evening drag karaoke. Such a wonderful pub with a unique atmosphere. Used the basement for an event, it was perfect and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout - not to mention responsive. Also grabbed a roast which was delicious and so well priced
Only popped in for a couple of Coca Cola's. The taverner was so welcoming and accommodating, apologising for no seats inside and offered us the bar or outside. Genuine warmth and hospitality. This is a 'yes' pub; aka nothing too much trouble. Will be back for Sunday lunch. Keep up the positivie vibe

I booked the Nelson's function room for a 30th birthday bash and it went above expectations. Very easy to book, very communicative and helpful management/staff, great room for parties, great friendly pub to go and be silly and queer in!
Ben and the team are fantastic - had a great time having a party in the downstairs private room. Drag bingo was an unexpected bonus!
While this is an excellent pub to hang out in any day of the week, it really shines for one of the more outstanding roasts in this city. Wonderful juicy meat with perfectly done vegetables - cannot express how good this is!
We love this pub! We booked a small party in their basement/function room and it was perfect. Good music setup, good drinks, and the staff were so, so helpful. Everyone had such a good night.

Held a surprise party here for my partner in the basement area. Ben & the team was amazing and made sorting everything seamless and stress free. The pub itself is so fun as you will see by the decorations etc. Would 110% recommend to stop in if your passing as it’s beautifully tucked behind Columbia
