I come often, one of the best places in the area. The food is very good, the croissants and the pastries great. The staff is kind and nice but it’s kinda a slow so be prepare to wait, it’s worth it.
Very cosy place for petite dejeuner at reasonable prices. Service is brisk. Plating wise, just a small suggestion to plate your food in the middle and not sitting on the edge, leaving 3/4 of the plate looking lonely 😊 Mannered dogs (dogs that doesn’t cause problem) are allowed to sit indoor. This place is intended for adults which fit us perfectly. Although I’m sure mannered children are welcome too.
A home-like French patisserie right next to the Kensington Square gardens. The host and crew are super warm and welcoming and make you instantly feel like a part of them. Highly recommend their coffee. Perfect outdoor spot to kick off your Sunday morning with some sun on your face and a crunchy croissant on your plate.
Good quality coffee and croissant.
I can feel the soul and good mind of owner.
A lovely local cafe. Super delicious Chicken Sandwich baguette! (I’m normally not a sandwich person at all), healthy salad, fresh French pastries - Pain au chocolat is super as croissant is! Very friendly staffs - Would definitely be back.
An enclave of France at the heart of London. Cozy nostalgic little family cafe, frequented by locals of the neighborhood, especially the French-speaking ones.
Cortado is alright. A little weak, like a mini latte. I was not here for specialty coffee anyways.
Tomato mushroom spinach Galette with extra sheets is heartily loaded. I’m making progress with my daily veggie from the breakfast :> The galette Breton is crispy and not too salty. It’s impressive how such a thinner-than-paper pancake can hold so many fillings, though I really like buckwheat so I’d prefer it be slightly thicker.
And the waffles and scones glittering in the morning sun as I went out of the cafe! Would have definitely given in to them if I hadn’t been eating too many cakes and ice creams these days. I’ll come back for them too.
Breakfast was good. Loves their pastries, all of it are delicious.
Relaxed French cafe, serving excellent food and desserts. The coffee is superior !
The "Egg Benedict" is a must !
Highly recommended !
Fell in love with this place straight away🥰
Went to Proms with my friend and we popped in here for a cup of coffee. The vibe there is absolutely relaxing and soothing - We eventually ordered a latte, pineapple tart and Portuguese custard tart. They were all very tasty.
We stayed there for about 2-3 hours and I just loved how our catch-up has turned to be so chilled and relaxing thanks to the vibe here. I’d come back again ❤️
Super busy small French café. Well located in Kensington. They do have a good variety of pastry and patisserie. Very nice and cosy too. The food was alright. Ordered quite a few things to try. The mushroom quiche, the tarte aux pêche, the mushroom tomato croissant, the mille feuilles, the chocolate éclairs were all very nice. Didn’t quite like the galettes Bretons, its was blend and tasteless, seems like boiled mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach been thrown into it but the salad that came with it was nice. Staff are nice but super
rushed with the service as they are extremely busy. Overall we had a lovely experience there and recommended it.
A hidden gem in Kensington! The inside has a Parisian cafe atmosphere and decor and is perfect for breakfast/brunch or coffee and dessert after shopping. The coffee is good, served in adorable rustic cups and the food is top notch. We have tried most of the menu so far and the top 3 are the eggs Benedict, the croque madame and of course the croissants. Great selection of freshly baked pastries too. The staff is fantastic, friendly and with humour. Prices are average considering the location and quantity/quality of food.
Beautiful and quaint French cafe. Feels like a corner of Paris in London. The Eggs Royale I had here we’re brilliant, definitely in the top 3 of all I have ever eaten. The pastel de nata was also top tier. My friend had a strawberry tart and an eclair and thought it was brilliant.
Only downside is the crepe that my friend ordered. It was presumably made with buckwheat, so had a brown-beige colour and is clearly made for savoury crepes, yet the one she ordered was sweet. Little to no effort put into presentation too.
Overall recommend for pastries and typical breakfasts (e.g. Eggs Royale).
Very cute family business. Charming ambiance. Food looks and tastes good. Fairly priced. Visit if you can.
felt like I was in Paris. the interior was perfect from the facade, two little terrace tables facing the street, a bit rusty fireplace and all that. minus one star cuz the coffee did not meet the expectations.
Super cute french-inspired coffee place. Perfect for a calm conversation with a friend or to read whilst seating at the back. Staff are super friendly, specially an albanian guy. He made us feel very welcomed. Will surely come back. It is now one of my three top favorite coffee shops around Kensington.
Lovely service and delicious food. A little expensive but the area generally is. Would come back again.
