This is a great pub, we were only there for an hour or so last Sunday evening but I am basing my rating on the feeling/ vibe that we walked away with. Light and airy pub but cosy at the same time with lots of light, good mix of people of various ages and seemingly good food which we will have to try next time.

First went to the Bulls Head nearly 50 years ago! We went on Tuesday and had a meal and listened to the Jazz. Steak pie was really good! The band Momentum were excellent and have written some great material. You gotta get down to the Bulls Head!

Another fabulous NYE, at the jazz rooms at the Bull's head in Barnes! Groove Warriors played some mighty fine tunes, and boogie-ing continued passed the midnight hour! Thanks folks!

The Bulls Head team put on a brilliant evening for us in the library snug for our Pint &Politics night - all invited. The bar was buzzing and there was a great crowd. Fantastic to meet you all and can't wait to do it again soon. Helen Barnes Ward Conservatives

This is a huge pub just opposite the river and minutes from Barnes bridge station. It is usually quiet and cosy except for days like the boat race when it's really packed. We went here on a weekday and it was lovely, not too crowded, just perfect for a few drinks and some dinner. The bulls head does offer all the pub favourites in terms of food and drink. I had a chicken Kiev with broccoli and it was delicious. We also had the celeriac and chive soup with cheesy toast which was very comforting as it was a cold evening. Will definitely plan more visits to this pub as they have a lot to offer in their menu apart from the jazz nights.

A true 'hidden gem', The Bulls Head is one of my favourite pubs in London and has a back room where I've been privileged to see some of the best live music this city has to offer. The Monday night jam night is a highlight with guest performers every week. The staff are very friendly and it has a very relaxed, laid-back energy which is sometimes hard to find in London pubs.

Good pub by the river. Great indoors but no outdoors as it is on the road straight by the river. Cosy inside but decor is more pastiche and less authentic than others locally. Still, good choice of drinks (it is a Young's pub). Didn't eat but food dishes looked great!

Pros: nice location and interior Cos: the white wine (Pinot Grigio) was literally vinegar, the Pale Ale watery

We had a private lunch to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary in the Melrose Room on Sunday 3rd December for 17 people. We had a lovely time. The food choice was good value, tasty and well prepared. The service was great. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time. Josh and his team did a great job, No hesitation about recommending this as a great venue for a celebratory meal.

There is no place in London I’d rather be than the bulls head on a jazz night. The atmosphere, service and food is always top standard here and is perfect if you don’t enjoy the booming bars of central London, whose sole mission it is to deafen you, and would rather have a nice evening over good food and good music with friends. The high standard appears to be maintained throughout the day too with their delicious burgers and not to mention possibly the best scotch egg my family and I have ever tasted. All round a great pub and well worth a visit.

Lovely, spacious premises with an outdoor facility. Very dog friendly. There isn't designated parking but the high street has lots of parking. Service was slow and slightly disjointed but the food was worth the wait. Friendly staff and restful atmosphere

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Bulls Head, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Bulls Head has that cozy, traditional pub ambiance that makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can relax with friends or enjoy some quality alone time.

Splendid 200% British ambiance in the pub, where the dinner was served. Excellent food throughout (Lamb shank for me with perfect side vegetable). Friendly service. Amd the jazz room is a must.

Absolutely love this pub. Always some good characters down the win the jazz night his on. Special mention and review today though, after meeting a friend last night and having an amazing meal. Ordered the seed chicken leg with Panzarella and orzo salad. Simply one of the best chicken meals I have ever eaten. Completely unexpected and a great combination. Special mention to the chef and will be back soon.

This place have been going since the 70's, my father used to have his own band here , needless to say I will always recommend, the jazz room moved a bit further back into what used to be called ' The Stables', due to the noise factor with neighbours. Personally it's not the same for me, and never will be, but if you like live music, especially jazz, this is the place, I hope you check it out very soon!
