The Rochelle Canteen at The ICA is a fantastic addition to the original Rochelle Canteen in Shoreditch. A great menu in a casual setting with fantastic service, definitely worth a visit. It’s not cheap, but the food is definitely worth it. I’ll be back...

One of my most enjoyable meals in London. A lot of focus on the ingredients and their natural flavour, not much unnecessary emphasis on rich dressing or presentation.

Great restaurant. The cooking is absolutely on point - the quail is as good as they all say. Really good value too. Hard to find fault.

The filing in the rabbit and trotter pie was fabulous, but the suet crust was to die for! I would go back again just for that pie... Great service, lovely puddings too. What now could you want?

Highly recommended! An example of how great a British restaurant can be. It strays a little from the orthodox St John style of cooking, bringing a variety of other flavours into dishes, but delivered a stunning Sunday lunch! The quail, deep fried rabbit and trotter pie stood out, as did the desserts. All dishes were cooked perfectly! Staff were very attentive, and the order and timing of the food was spot on. While a couple of drink orders were missed, we were left feeling well looked after, and throughly satisfied!

Simply put: The best simple/not simple British, local, seasonal, thoughtful food you will find.

The ICA cafe is a lovely hidden (almost) gem. Tucked away in the far corner of the venue you get a peek of the art for free as you walk to the cafe. This is one of my favourite places for a quick coffee in between work meetings. They have a small but excellent cake and sandwich menu. Only slightly let down by the slow service.
