The takeaway from this restaurant is great. Family surprised me with a great bounty of Korean and Japanese food. Food was delicious and looks great. Would recommend it to everyone. The Korean menu is a great alternative if not feeling up for sushi- particularly recommend the fried chicken and spicy pork.
Ate here for the first time yesterday following a friends recommendation. The salmon teriyaki bento box was amazing. Most definitely be a place I would recommend and return to!
Good food, good Service and good value all in a same place! So far the best sushi I have ever had in London!
I've lost count of how many times I've been to Hana, however, I can assure you that every visit has been a complete pleasure. The small restaurant has a homely feel, whilst the service is always efficient and friendly. The food is fresh and tasty; I've tried a range of dishes from across their menu and have always been very impressed with the taste.
Their price range is extremely competitive. A person on a budget can enjoy a lovely meal for under £10. I recommend Hana to all my friends and I would suggest that you try it too!
Delicious light tempura, beautiful ramen and awesome katsu curry! I'll be back!

One of the Best sushi restaurant in London, we love it
The food was amazing and the service was excellent! Can't wait to go back!
I'm recommend hana sushi it's amazing
Littke Japanese place tucked up no where on Seven Sisters Road. Ohhh what joy. Just like tumbling upon an oasis in the desert.
I am currently working for local council office near it and makes an awesome lunch time stop.
Love their Bento 🍱 Box selection.
Also loveeeee nommm nammm their bibimbap.
Busy at lunch time.
Absolutely wonderful hidden gem. Fantastic food! I am especially a fan of the sesame seared tuna & the yellow tail sashimi :))) Great service as well. I live in West London & travel to Finsbury Park specifically for Hana Sushi :)
This was my first time visiting this place. I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I walked in but I had an open mind. It was quite busy. I ordered a vegetarian dish and was really impressed firstly by the way it was presented and also more by the taste of it! Definitely a place to visit. Only thing I would say is, although staff are friendly, the service could be improved a little more.
I love takeaways - unfortunately it is quite tricky to find the right place that delivers good sushi. Hana Sushi in Finsbury Park is the one!
The restaurant never disappoints. I have visited the restaurant as a guest and also ordered takeaway. The service is great! We never had to wait long for the food and it is always of very good quality. The Red Dragon and Crunch rolls are one of my favourites.
Great place. Hidden gem as an earlier reviewer wrote. Great selection of rolls. Seven Sisters roll is spicy and tempura battered. Not traditional Japanese but really awesome.
Japanese is not your only option should you visit Hana; they also offer a good selection of Korean food as well. I had beef Bi Bim Bap for dinner last night and it was delicious. This selection of meat, vegetables, rice and a raw egg is bought to the table in a piping hot stone pot. The rice is at the bottom separated from the stone by a small layer of sesame oil so, after allowing the dish to sizzle a little to crispen the rice, you add the accompanying hot sauce and mix so that the egg cooks through. I loved it.
A hidden gem!. I found this restaurant by using google maps to find one near me. One of the reviews said to go in and 'not be put off by the location or the look of the place' that is so true. I would never have thought it would be so good OR being so authentic. It you can brave the location and the apparent simplicity of the place you will be surprised and delighted by the food. Top Sushi.
An authentic, minimal decor greet you in one of the hidden treasure of Seven Sisters Road; it's similar to many establishment I visited while living in Japan and this add to the whole experience for me. The food is excellent both in the sushi and the cooked department, flavourful and made at the moment, fantastic in the presentation and generous in the portions, a good value for money, with the bento as always a perfect deal. Tempura, teriyaki, bulgogi, there is something for every taste and if in a rush, they do takeaway. Is one of my favourite here up north, the other is Dotori. Highly recommended.
It's not hard to find a Japanese restaurant in Central London, but venture outside of it to one of the grittier areas and you're more likely to end the night with a doner kebab.
But on fast-flowing Seven Sisters Road, just up from Nags Head, in North London, Hana Sushi is a diamond in the rough.
Their sushi is freshly made and the portion size good compared to a lot of London Japanese restaurants. They have an extensive menu with a mix of sushi, sashimi, makimono, tempura and yakimono. You can order a variety of smaller dishes or a don on rice, stir fried or bowl noodles.
Their salmon teriyaki and bul go gi is very good and the wakame (seaweed) and wafu salad good side dishes.
While you may find the quaintness of bench seating and minimalist Japanese decor doesn't feel quite the same when you're looking out onto a major thoroughfare jammed with white vans and lorries rather than a Soho backstreet, the convenience of not having to venture into the West End is worth it.
They also do takeaway.
I love hana sushi! It’s a hidden gem located in North-Central London and it’s prices are reasonable for massive portions. The food is authentic and I love everything I’ve tried so far :) Chicken is halal! Haven’t asked about the beef before
Good menu. A lot of bento options. Staff very nice and welcoming. Generous portions and great food. They also have Ashai beer. Very reasonably priced. Maybe one of the best local restaurants in the area.
Wonderful place for wide range of great quality Japanese food very reasonably priced with terrific service. Worth stopping in.
My fave secret London sushi place. I was ecstatic to see Hana survive pandemic lockdowns and hybrid work.
Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. They have some original dishes like the Seven Sisters Roll. Really a great little find. Highly recommended.
Such nice japanese food! Been here a couple of times and never fails to appease. Wonderfull service and food! We ordered the vegetable ramen and the salmon bento, not only are the portions good but the price was astonishing, let alone the speed they brought the food to us, within 10 mins we already had all our food and drinks on the table! We paid around 40 pounds for dinner for 2 with drinks included. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some quick and tasty Japanese food.
Excellent local Japanese restaurant. Food is fresh and authentic while prices are very reasonable. Bear in mind that it's a pretty small venue so book in advance for weekends, if possible.
Excellent quick service and fresh tasting food. The portion sizes are generous. The staff and sushi chef are hard working and really friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!
I have been coming here for almost 8 years now and it is without doubt a really wonderful place to have Japanese food! The guys who run the ace are friendly and always take time to say hello. The only negative is that it's small and for dinner can be time restricted but at lunch no such issues. I am sure if it were larger premises they would fill the place up easily!
I was surprised by the food, was looking for a local japonese restaurant and now I become a regular customer. Amazing food, friendly staff. Small place and modest but the food it's more than worthy. Definitely need to recommend that restaurant. Even delivery its exactly the same quantity. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
A brilliant little sushi restaurant where you would least expect it. We have eaten in and taken away both sushi and noodle/rice dishes. Everything has been generous in size and tasted amazing! Staff are really friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!
