From walking in and been greeted by a very friendly, polite guy, who gave me a menu to decide what i was wanting to eat as this was my 1st time trying lebonese food.
looking around the establishment seeing it was full of people enjoying something to eat was a sign that it must be good food, and i was not wrong.
The food is great, and very tasty.
This place is a must
Great food at a fair price, friendly staff. Don't forget to bring beer yourself should you want alcohol as it is not served.
Overall one the best restaurants close to the ExCel arena, recommended.
Delicious Lebanese food. Authentic taste with great flavor.
Food was good. Tried grilled veg.. slightly pricey but taste is awesome .. will go there again but need to watch my expenses.. otherwise it is good
I am surprised to see that I am writing the first review.
Al Masar is a good Lebanese restaurant. The food, though not exceptionally good is especially brilliant if you do a cost benefit analysis. If I was to rate Al Masar only in terms of value for money, I'd probably give it a 4.5. For me, the dishes which stand out are the Shish Taouk and roasted chicken. I am not a fan of lamb so can't comment on that but some friends who've tried it have said good things about it. Overall, if you're really hungry and want to try decent Lebanese food without burning a hole in your pocket, Al Masar is the place.
Food is definitely worth it, really good, tasty and filling. There’s also a free side of bread which was lovely. Food came on time , didn’t wait to long. It was a quiet afternoon when we went there were barely customers, so the atmosphere was a bit quiet for me but staff were nice
I can not recommend this place enough. The food is beyond amazing, more than reasonably priced and good service. The menu has an ample offer. I will be coming back
Good food, very delicious. Price is a little high but the environment and location makes up for it.
However when I first arrived the restaurant was empty, there was a short stocky looking parkistani looking guy who was really arrogant, I said hi and he didn't greet me back. I was ready to order he saw me but he was just doing small tasks here and there, could have taken my order first and do your task while my order was being prepared. Not happy I had to wait 20mins for him to come to take my order in an empty restaurant. I had a convention at EXCEL to go back to.
Another bald guy with clean thick beard was very kind. Loved his smile. Could have been better if it wasn't for that stocky guy.
First time I went there today, it was great. Very friendly staffs, great service, food portions were good. It's a bit on the pricey side as all the main dishes do not come with rice or fries so that I would like the owners to look into as most restaurants their main courses come with rice or fries. Also they don't serve alcohol Alhamdulillah, very rare to find such places nowadays. Overall very good experience 👍🏻
Just visited this place for a takeaway, can't stop but praise the chef and staff.
Excellent, friendly service and tasty food.
I would highly recommend this place.
Incredible food and a beautiful place. At first glance looks pricey but the portions are huge so it's good value-for-money. A single main course can be split between two people easily. Whole place was really busy but the waiting times were worth it.
Excellent food and service, the food just kept coming till we could eat no more. Laid back and relaxed dining with a good atmosphere. Worth noting its BYOB, shop directly across the road has plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from which is ideal if you don't realise this in advance. Highly recommended, don't let the fact it's BYOB put you off!
We had a mixed grill and chicken sharwarma. Both had amazing flavour and succulent meat and tasted very fresh. Baklava was beautiful
Absolutely loved the food. Ordered roasted lamb(lamb shank sautéed with herbs and onion) and marinated salmon. While on the one side lamb was succulent , the quality of salmon was superb , seemed like particulates of Omega3 floating in the air. Complimented the food with Turkish tea and I would highly recommend the same, utterly delicious.
A novice to Lebanese food 😋 I thoroughly enjoyed the experience delicious food and lovely waiter, definitely will go again when in London
Had a lovely meal at Al Masar. I ordered the chicken curry and rice. The chicken was very tender and the rice was flavoured with a touch of cinnamon.
Expect to pay around £50 for 2 meals and drinks. They make fresh juices, the carrot juice was very refreshing. Service charge is included.
Consistently good, and it's BYOB, even better. Though their juice cocktails are even better than their great food. And I live locally.
My favourite dish is the grilled baby chicken, shown below.
Went there for a light lunch and had the shawarma wrap and a coffee. Taste was authentic and the food was presentable. It’s a nice corner to sit in taking in the bit of water scenery with quiet music playing. Staff were friendly and very helpful too.
The meat platter was superb. Both lamb and chicken were awesome. Never had chicken breast kebabs so soft.
Hummus was great, no grains at all served with hot fresh pita bread.
