Best chilli con carne! Outstanding beers and fantastic steaks that show up a lot of the gastro pubs in the area.  It gets a little loud sometimes on a Sunday with the jazz but still worth it. Interesting building in terms of the local music scene and its development

This is an awesome pub. I'm all off because of time change so arrived around 14:00 local time. It was pretty empty and had some tunes on ranging from The Smith's to Simon and Garfunkel to Nirvana to The Clash. I was into it. Super friendly staff who dealt with me ordering a vodka soda cran (y'all don't drink these as much as we do in America but I think I complicated things haha, thanks for your patience). Fish and chips were A+. I even liked the mushy peas. Lovely open feeling and comfortable seats. Big fan.

We stopped in here for lunch while visiting London. We enjoyed our lunch so much! Very nice place, very nice people and very good food. Won't break the bank either.

A lovely place for a New Year celebration. It wasn’t too busy but still a fantastic evening. They have a great outdoor area with some heaters, as well as a large open space inside. There is a fairly good amount of seating. It is very LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I felt very safe here. Great music, great sound system, and the bar is quick with plenty of staff. I look forward to returning! It was so welcoming.

A cavernous pub close to Gunnersbury station. A good selection including a couple of cask ales. Looks like it could be great fun when sports are televised. Good to see the six nations already advertized! Service was excellent, done with a smile to make it even better. A good place for a pint.

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. We had taco bowl and daily special massaman curry. Both were amazing! The staff was friendly and welcoming. They seem to have exercise classes, baby soft play club etc.

Good beers and good food in this friendly pub opposite Gunnersbury underground and Overground train station. On sundays - only open matchdays . They need to take down the old sign The John Bull still on the side of the pub. Official Food Hygiene Scores On The Doors 5 out of 5.

Convenient pub to the Tube. Good level of activity. Typical challenge getting service. Food was good traditional pub food complimenting the drinks. Big space to meet friends. Nothing fancy, does what it needs to do.

Controversially one of my favourite pubs in London. This place is fantastic, it is very much a 'boozer' crossed with a beer hall. Friendly and very attentive staff (shoutout to Jacob), very fair prices, great atmosphere (especially from Thursday evening onwards looking to the weekend). I have often brought many friends here and we've had some great times. The Gunnersbury is completely unpretentious and is just a great place to relax with a few beers. I have never eaten here but from what I hear, the food is of a much higher quality than one would expect. Bonus points for having Asahi, Paulaner and Budvar on tap! Pros: Very fairly priced drinks, Vast selection of drinks, Extremely attentive staff, Great atmosphere, Extra seating outside and a large smoking area. Cons: Genuinely cannot think of any. This place is a hidden gem. Many thanks to the team at The Gunnersbury, you are all an absolute credit to this establishment. Ollie

Large recently refurbished pub that has venue space downstairs and upstairs. A very lively burlesque scene happens roughly once a month. Lively and friendly there is also a smaller bar where it's easy to have a chat. Good beers, food and the staff are super efficient getting you served, whilst being very friendly too. A good night here if you have a lot of you in your group. And a good night for a quiet drink in the smaller, more intimate side bar, which is comfortable and relaxing. Well recommended. And following our burlesque evening of 9th. December 2022 it's still the great venue it is. Get on down there. And it's still as good as ever. After further visits an enjoyable outing for one and all. Another great evening of burlesque which this venue embraces once a month. Top Pub!!
