Lovely space. Indoor and outdoor and a cellar bar. Hadn't been since early 2000s. Hadn't changed a lot. Good food - we had small plates falafel and goats cheese bruschetta. Hidden gem

Nice staff. Good wine and beer. Salads are expensive and you have to ask for vinaigrette otherwise it is just plain salad.

Lovely winebar with outside shaded courtyard area next to British Museum. Good suggestion from manager for wine and accompanying food snack.

Spacious outdoor area, perfect for the summer, & they allow advance reservations. Coordinated our booking with Isabelle, one of the managers - she was very easy to work with!

Wasn't busy when we visited so the experience was great. Had ordered for one of the platters (image attached) had a pint of lager on tap and a glass of wine. Surely recommend a place for conversation not so noisy like the usual pub

The outside garden is very busy and full of people every time. This is our regular place to come with colleagues to celebrate any events so without booking is very hard to get a table. Food and drinks are great, service is fust and staff is great

We enjoyed private dining experience at Truckles. Food and service was excellent, we will definitely be back again. 8 February 2023 I was compelled to update my review. We really enjoy our private dining experience at Truckles. The manager and her staff go that extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. The Chef is amazing and the food is prepared fresh and is delicious. The attention to detail adds that little extra where you know you have been looked after by people who care. Thank you

Closes at 8pm on Mondays, but we still managed to arrive late at 7pm and have a very pleasant 3 course meal and be out while the staff were still smiling at us. Excellent quality food and wines, as you'd expect from a Davies joint.

We had a work function here last night and we booked a private space in the cellar and pre-ordered wines and drinks and a selection of snacks from their buffet menu. Absolutely first rate. Its a wonderful venue. The cellar space is warm and comfortable with loads of character. We had our own generous space, while there were other groups so it made for a terrific atmosphere. The drinks are very reasonably priced and service was terrific, which is hard in these covid times. The food (hot chips, houmous and flat bread, falafel, mixed olives) hot and delicious. The stand-out are the fish goujons - moist, fresh, hot and cripsy. Thank you so much to Manager Natalia who really made sure we had a great evening. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to booking something for the courtyard in the summer.

Tucked away in an easily overlooked yard on a side street near the British Museum, this watering hole is a personal favourite. Summer is a joy with many tables outside, and winter provides an opportunity to sit in the quiet chic modern wine-bar interior. The wine selection is good (if expensive) and the food is also to be recommended.

Never eaten only drunk here, beer selection is quite limited but the location is great, very friendly staff and a perfect outdoor area for alfresco drinking that manages to feel very relaxed despite its central location

Nice courtyard seating and good falafel sandwich for lunch.

Nice surroundings and not too busy on the day that I visited in late October. Looks like somewhere which would be buzzing in the summer months. The only downside is the cost of drinking there - but, to be fair, that's true of similar establishments located in central London. One to try out again on a summer's day, for sure!

A hidden gem! They have a lovely backyard away from all traffic and a super nice atmosphere (if you have good weather), can highly recommend!
