Great for a Drink. Beer or Gin Lovers come here for an after work drink and enjoy.

Natural Light and quite nice service.

Sometimes the music is too loud, so if your into a girls talk better go to another place as you won't be able to listen your friends

A classic Bar Works gem, Three Johns has been a favourite of mine for a long time. I love the interior: it's brickish and woody without being the typical London fare we're so used to. I really like the separate dining space inside too, be sure to sit in there if you visit for a proper meal. It's so spacious in the main area; it feels like they've deliberately kept less tables to make it so. Great for big groups due to to the long tables too.

I came here for pizza before a heavy night of New Years Eve celebrations. Not only did it line my stomach perfectly, the size was bang on as was the price. The toppings aren't particularly exciting or imaginative, but they did taste fresh.

Although I was in rather too much of a hurry, I can easily imagine whiling away an evening here with friends enjoying pizza and an impressive selection of drinks.

The atmosphere was particularly excitable and buzzy but I suspect this was because it was New Years Eve rather than because of the pub itself.

Visited this pub for a drink, and was pleasantly surprised at how pretty and spacious it is inside! Only thing to note though, is that they only serve pizza for food, no other snacks or types of food available. That said, the pizzas looked amazing - so worth a try! I would definitely visit again!

Very cool bar in Angel, loads of space and trendy decor. Have a small outdoor area out front that gets good afternoon sun. Great range of craft beers plus do the full spectrum of wines, spirits, ciders, etc.

What a great pub! We were in town visiting family and happened upon this gem. The beer selection gave us so many choices for a great beer. Next the pizza; to call it craft pizza might be an understatement. So, so delicious! Lastly, the service was fantastic. The staff was there with a smiling face and great advice on the food or drinks. Almost forgot the vibe. Will definitely visit again when we are back in London.

One of the best pubs near Angel station, which is only a block away. The pizzas are excellent, perhaps the best in the neighbourhood (better even than certain pizzerias nearby). Unfortunately, the kitchen closes early, around 10pm during the week. Wide range of beers in bottles and on tap. Cocktails are a bit pricey, an aperol spritz costs £9. Some staff are very friendly, others not so much. One day I went with a friend and she wanted to pay with a £10 ticket for a £9 Aperol. The cashier, a gal with long straight hair, was extremely rude and said she didn't have change in a very rude way. She must not have been on a good day because after a few minutes she broke a dozen glasses in one go. Apart from that episode, it's a place I go regularly.

This is a must visit pub if you’re near the Angel area of Islington. The architecture is something to see, and it just feels right. A half decent selection of drinks, and the big home made pizzas look more than decent. The chap behind the bar was very friendly and stopped to chat, not always what you expect in central London.

Came in for friend’s birthday drinks on a Saturday and it was the best experience in a while! First of all the atmosphere was welcoming, fun, warm and the team were all clearly happy to be there. A few people had a sing along to the amazing playlist that was on! We had a couple of pizzas and these were fabulous- thank you to chef Davide

My friends and I are in London for a few days and we were looking for a great English pub that served exceptional cocktails, not only beer. Look no further than The Three John’s. Tara, one of the managers, made me one of the best margaritas that I’ve ever had. I am super picky. She was very professional and listened to me about exactly what I wanted and made it to perfection. Also, don’t skip the pizza! Sourdough Nepalese type crust was the best. I just wish that this was closer to home. Oh, well…
